Love it love it love it! You express the emotions so beautifully. Can't wait to find out what happens next! :)

Author's Response:

I'm so happy that you love it PBS (PBeesly Sweater), and I really appreciate your kind words.  Is it bad to say I can't wait to see what happens next....hee hee since I'm writing I'm not entirely sure yet either.  :-)

Now, I'm not a big gloater, but I called it! I knew you would provide a fresh, new spin on the Christmas card...and you proved me right! I really liked how you portrayed the rollercoaster of feelings both Jim and Pam had that day. I think Pam's actions here really show a lot about her character. I mean, most people would have been seduced by the iPod, so it says a lot that she was able to see that Jim's gift was really the more valuable one. I can't wait to see where you take this! (And the "ho, ho, ho" breaks were very cute!)

Author's Response:

Okay just a few things, but I totally owe you for giving me a nudge here.  I really appreciate your support, you're just awesome and it means alot to me.  i'm glad you liked the story so far and I think you're so right about Pam.  Her actions show how much she loves Jim, even when her words don't.

Most important, I think I've been occassionally calling you the wrong name, SuperGIRLsudz.  (Not supersudzgirl) so so so sorry for that.  :-)

I was so thrilled to see this posted! I dropped what I was doing and simply devoured this story just now. And what a delicious treat it was! You have such a gift for packing an emotional punch into so few words, that it astounds me.

Parts of this that I loved:

-Jim's reaction to getting Pam's name was to immediately start looking for the perfect gift for her. I imagine that is exactly what happened. Likewise his joy/relief when he found it.

-That you included Pam's POV in this story. It was so nice to see the switching back and forth between them, both of them so utterly conflicted and confused at the obviousness of the truth staring at them. Classic S2 stuff, and it was great.

-Jim's reaction later on, and his meditations on a public suicide were tragically hilarious. :)

-And finally, I love love LOVE that Pam had specifically noticed the card and wanted to save it for last. I always felt she knew about it, but never said anything.

Kudos and bravo for this one, and I'll be eagerly awaiting the next chapter!

Author's Response: Mose, thanks for your encouragement on this one.  Truly, you gave me the push I needed to write this.  I really appreciate your review, I love knowing what people liked or didn't.  I'm glad you found the internal monologues to ring true to the characters.  I feel like S2 is a very relatable time for Pam and Jim and that's probably part of why I am so drawn to it.  Lastly, the card was so obvious in the box, she had to have seen it.  I'm glad you agree on that.  :-)
