Woo. This is fantastic. Not terribly chivalrous, maybe, to trick her into walking in uncomfortable shoes, but very Jim-ish in his most wonderfully devilish way. And how it all just hit her, what they've gone through and that he's really finally there...I think that was a perfect note to hit, with her sudden emotion bringing them in for the kiss. Nicely done!
Author's Response: Thanks! About the shoes - he's a guy. I figure he'd have no idea what torture that would be.
