Wow! I forgot about the candle, too!  What kind of JAMmer am I?  (A forgetful one, I guess.)  Very nice.

Author's Response: If you are a forgetful JAMmer, I am an obsessed one. Thanks for liking this chapter!

That's so nice!

For some reason, your list in the first sentence seems very poetic -- it just flows so nicely, I guess.  A TWHS for "she was inexhaustible."  Jim's explanation of the day vs. the night for him in Stamford was really good.

Author's Response: Thank you! Poor Jim had a hard few weeks in Stamford, I think.

I'm with Pam on the groaning.  Send Jim and his bad puns back to Stamford.  Cheesy!Jim. ;)

If I suddenly stop reviewing, don't worry, I'll come back later.  I don't know when my reading time is going to be cut short. :)

Author's Response: Ha, you didn't stop reviewing but I stopped replying. Thank you! Thank you!

Ha!  "It hurt my soul."  Funny.

Author's Response:

Hi. Twelve years ago, you commented on this story. On one of the chapters, you said it was OK if I didn't respond to each chapter review individually, and I said OK.

But those unanswered reviews are sitting in my profile mocking me. So I'm replying today. Yes, I am neurotic. That's why I was so obsessed with fanfic back in the day! (Thanks for reading and reviewing!)

There's a little formatting problem with the underlining of 'not.'

I love how you've introduced Dwight and Angela's situation in this chapter.  I could definitely see them having this sort of conversation.  I love Jim's last line.

Author's Response: I think these two care more about the people at DM than they ever want to admit, don't you?  (Thanks for the editing catch, I'll fix it right away!)

"he knew that it was often in quiet, reflective moments when he could truly appreciate what he had now in contrast to his misery just a year before."  Good words, lis.

Author's Response: Thank you. It seems pretty Jim-like to me to mostly just be caught up in being happy without thinking about it too often- except when it hits him like a ton of bricks.

I think Pam liked Katy until she thought Jim liked Katy, and until Katy liked Jim.  After that, it was "get your hands off Jim, bee-yotch!" ;)

Author's Response:

I think that you're 100% correct with that.

And now I've cleared all of the unanswered reviews from my profile. I hope you were surprised, amused, and pleased to get these notifications today. (Assuming you still use this email address). It was my pleasure to revisit this story and our time together. Thank you for being a supporter of MTT and of mine during a fun and creative part of my life.

That's so sweet! Neither one was actually lost?  That's kind of adorable.  I liked Michael making people go sledding, too.  I'd like to see that episode. ;)

Author's Response: I agree, it felt very Michael-y to force them to socialize, and sledding seems like the kind of think (like ice skating) that he'd like to do. Thank you! :)

I love this line: "These sorts of games could go on for days between them."  It evokes such a feeling of how they act together.

You have a little formatting problem between "sign" and "those expense reports."

Wait, if she won, what about the rest of the chapters? ;)

Author's Response: Oooh, thanks for the heads-up. I'll fix!

The 'dark side' made me laugh. :)

(You don't need to respond to all of these individually.  I'm just doing my 'train of thought' thing.  Choo choo!)

Author's Response: That made me laugh a bit, myself. And if you're sure you don't mind...I'll skip ahead (but I appreciate all the individual reviews! It's so exciting to see that number rack up. Thank you!!)

So sweet.  (Except for Michael in the bathroom - Ew.  Sometimes, having a decent imagination (or an indecent one) isn't really that cool.) ;)

Author's Response: Heh, yeah. Sorry about that.

Nice theme, lis!  What a great idea - "Everything reminded me of you." You can go anywhere with that. :)

Author's Response: Yeah, I wanted something open-ended so that I could be flexible for whatever the new words would be. Sort of a cop-out, but I had fun with it. Thank you so much!

I love the story. I like how we get to see Jim and Pam interact outside of the office. Great job on the challenge too. I can't believe you got 13 out of the 14 words.

Author's Response: Thank you! Life has been a little hectic, or I'd have done all 14. I'm really glad this worked as a story outside of the challenge, too. It was fun to write.

Great job, lis, with this challenge.  I love Jim and Pam fics that focus on their normal day-to-day existence and this fit the bill perfectly.  I like the idea that they wait till the end of the day to make plans ( a la "Money" ) so that their life doesn't become too routine.  Happy story, made me smile!

Author's Response:

Thank you! I love thinking of you smiling as you read this silliness. I think they must have so much fun together. Thanks again!

Wow.  I just love how you handled this challenge.  I could really see all these things reminding Pam of Jim.  This is just perfectly sweet without being cloying.  Nicely done!

Author's Response: Thank you so much. It was a challenge to think of an idea that would be flexible enough to handle whatever word was thrown at us. I'm glad you thought it worked! I know that walking that sweet/cloying line is tricky, too, so I'm very pleased that you enjoyed this. Thanks again!

Loved it - all thirteen chapters!! Very nice job!

Author's Response: Thanks. 13 chapters is a LOT for me! Heh. I had a great time with this. Thanks again!

Okay, if my mom was reading this, you would get lectured about how great People's Court is. Seriously. She records it DAILY. If she is home she watches ALL the judge shows.
Its insane.

And yes. Jim is hot when he plays basketball. One of the reasons I enjoy that episode.

So sweet. And Pam wins. As always.

Author's Response: HA! That's hilarious. I actually like a little Judge Judy now and again. I'm so glad you're enjoying this!

I was going to say Pinapples reminded me of the show Psych. But then you put the image of Michael and Pinapple rings in my head.

....

i think i died.

Author's Response: Don't die! I know, that was probably in poor taste...but it just seemed like something drunk Michael would do. Hee. Thanks!

Okay, already I love it, because Jim doesn't remember it. I mean, I know in perfect fanfic land, its like of course they remember all the points we remember. But I can barely remember what I ate for breakfast this morning, and so, its more realistic if they foreget some things.

Poor Pam. I know that feeling. Everything reminds me of Jim also :)

Author's Response: No kidding. I'm a little over-invested in these two. I'm glad you thought that was realistic- the important part of that trip for Jim was being with Pam, not buying fabric softener!
