Already the room seemed paler without him in it.
I loved that little gem. I also love reading about how it would have been for them in the early days. These are fun and heartbreaking at the same time. Can't wait for more.

Thanks, Annika! I'm having a lot of fun writing about their early days, especially given everything we've heard about those pre-documentary days over the past 3 and a half seasons. I actually have like 9 more chapters written, so I'll definitely update soon, but for some reason I always feel a little bad when I start flooding the archive with frequent updates of just 100 word chapters. So I guess I'll update as soon as my guilt dies down a little.
Anyway, thanks again for the review! I'm really glad you're enjoying these.

I love the last line so much. I do a lot of these little drabbles. They're really fun to do. It's like writing poetry .. and they come out simply deep & beautiful.
Author's Response: I agree; these kinds of drabbles are so much fun to write. And I love the challenge of trying to fit my thoughts into just 100 words. I don't know if they're always deep, and mine definitely aren't always beautiful, but I have so much fun writing them, that I'll be happy even if I'm the only one who enjoys them.
