Another great update. I like how nervous you made Jim. I can't wait to hear about Megan and more of why Jim is so torn up.
I love how you have the two of them dancing around their feelings and not saying anything just like always. I think the way your write their inner monologue stuff is just brilliant.

Yay! You're back. You have no idea how much I've been looking forward to a new chapter. All the nervousness Jim felt in taking Pam to his home for the first time was very believable. So great that they are both slowly opening up to actually be able to say how much they enjoy being with eachother. Very proud of Jim's trying to be honest. I know how difficult that can be for someone who's always bottling things up inside. Just give in Pam. Who can resist Jim Halpert? And this: “grilled cheese by itself is just a lunch, but add tater tots and you’ve got a dinner” Ha! That's what I try to pass off as dinner sometimes and it works with my kid :)

I really, really loved this chapter! It's probably my favorite so far. You did a really nice job of capturing them getting back to each other and realizing the depth of feeling that is there. I can't wait for the next update this is wonderful.
Question: will we get more background on Megan? From an earlier chapter I got the impression Jim's grief was based as much on guilt as it was love-- perhaps a little more even?? Just wondering and would like to see that fleshed out.
Author's Response: You are absolutely right. We will get to Jim's guilt while we also get to some of Pam's issues that Roy created. I'm not sure how far off that is though, maybe in two or three chapters.

This chapter just had me smiling throughout because they're finally starting to open up with eachother. Sounds like both of their lives have had too much sadness. It's about time for some happy! You're doing such a wonderful job with this story italianfood. I always look forward to the next chapter.
