I was happy when I saw that there was an update for this story. The angst of this chapter was well done. It kind of though made me want to smack both Pam and Jim.
I mean Jim should have already told her about Megan and Pam could have listened to his apology.

Italianfood, I really missed this story and am so happy that you were able to update. The effort is appreciated. As its predecessors, this was such a good chapter. I read it with a knot in my stomach--really. I felt so bad for Jim, Pam and Franny, since I suspect she misses this man in her life, too. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Eesh. Wonderfully written, as always, but eesh. Painful. And to think, if he could've only been honest, like, a month ago? So hard when there's this wall between them, something it seems Jim didn't realize was still there until he remembered he forgot. Pam knowing nothing isn't his coworker or his family member who can brush off his "sick" days. I look forward to more, especially when Jim takes a hammer to that wall :)
