My short and sweet feedback is that I LOVE YOU for writing this. A series from Colette is like freaking GOLD.  The second person I love is Sweetpea for making you post already! Thank God!

Author's Response: Hold on there, partner! Not sure if this is going to be a series yet...but, there are ten more weekends left, so you never know. Depends on my attention span, how much wine I drink...but really happy you're happy so far. Thanks, LF! And yes, w/o Sweetpea, I'd probably still be frittering,  looking for another way to say 'she' or 'feel.' (I'm hopeless like that.)

Just your author's notes crack me up, but this story is very promising. I just love yearning and beer-drinking Jim. :)

Oh, and I can only relate too much to this description of summer in a big city: "The city heat is more oppressive than in Scranton. It feels thick and liquid, like moving through hot viscous soup."  So true.

Author's Response: City heat is definitely different - kind of like being in a terrarium. (Hey, I better use that.;-) And re: the author's notes - you are easy to amuse, my friend. Thanks so much, MA!

Oh, this is great.  A summer in NYC fic from an actual New Yorker!  Yay!  Can't wait to hear how they deal with the distance issues, Pam's experiences at Pratt, and Jim's big ass-kicking.

Author's Response: So glad you're liking it...but hope the title isn't misleading - this is only going to include this first visit! (I'm more about beating a moment/short time to death, not actually devising an extended plot, lol.) However, I do have another little fic (still in its embryonic stage) about another weekend, so...and I already did a proposal/ass kicking fic (okay, it was a quiet kind of ass kicking, but still ;-) Anyway, stay tuned. There will be a little more. And they will get wet. that I can promise. Thanks, you!

I love this sentence:

It’s like biting down on a toothache, so when he stops the relief will seem that much more exquisite.

Perfect Jim feeling that I can completely relate to.  I love his excitement and inability to stay in the office the whole day.

But you know I'm a 15-year old girl trapped in a 47-year old woman's body, so really...you could just write a series of Jim Halpert images that make me want to...do something crazy!  Hot, sweaty, drinking beer, undoing the tie, tucking it in his pocket (LOVE!), rolling the sleeves up and reading the NYT on the stoop.  Just kill me, why don't you?

Author's Response: Ha! Glad you liked that line - I kind of wondered if anyone else would know what the hell I meant there. And no 15 yr old girl ever knew what you do, darling. Trust me. But, I relate to your love of hot, sweaty Halpert...seriously, what's not to like? Thanks again, Sweetpea - you're a better cheerleader than Katy at her 15 yr old prime!

Can't wait for more.  Lovely job in describing the weather...I feel kind of gross now actually, so that's a great sign.

Author's Response: If I made you feel gross, my work here is done. ;-) Thanks so much, PamPongChamp...a little more is on the way.

Sneaky sneak.  I didn't know you had 2 stories brewing.

I really needed this today so thank you.

Author's Response: Neither did I...it just happened. (Sshhhh - I actually have a third. One of these days.) And glad to be of service. Thanks, xoxoxo!

I am so excited about this! I've been dying for a good story about their separation from one of my favorite authors! Just fabulous :)

Author's Response: Aw, thank you so much, Jenn. I really appreciate your enthusiasm. Hope the next part doesn't disappoint!
