Holy moly. That was so vivid, I can barely stand it. Oh, Jiiiiiim! Poor poor boy, poor Pam! Agggh I read this four times because it's so so lovely and heart breaking and captured so perfectly. Beautiful, really, it is.

Oh God, cannot stop bawling. I saw your warning and tried to work out the meaning, thinking this stolen time was her cheating on Roy or something. But the more ominous dark kept settling in, and then "it was a Tuesday they met and a Tuesday she died" and OW, OW, OWWWWW. I've read this three times on different days and cried every time I get to the end. You always have the most breathtaking way with words.

oh my gosh, that was so beautifully depressing. i loved it. your descriptions were amazing and i loved, loved the last big paragraph. also, i love the way you used the same line at the beginning and the end. this is really great, like all of your other stuff.

This was so beautifully written and so extremely sad. In my mind it takes place 50 years in the future so they were able to have a wonderful life together.

About the time Jim said "your fingers" I got all misty and barely breathed until the end. Lovely juxtaposition of them both being so content in the simplicity of waking together and then Jim's grief, bitterness, and struggle to continue. Beautifully tragic. Well done!

Oh. Wow. I really didn't foresee the ending at all so see the words "the day she died" I teared up a little because.. guh. But yeah, this was definitely as gorgeous and lovely as I knew it'd be when I saw your name next to it, and you know.. I'll the take the bittersweetness along with it because it was so good. Another gem, my dear. :)
