Lovely.  I adore the line about "letting out the breath they'd both been holding for so long" -- what a great way to describe the release in the tension.  Beautiful title and idea, too.  I love dancing stories.  :)

Author's Response:

Thanks allibabab!  I love the idea of them getting together this way.  This is one of my stories that actually still has the chance of happening!!  We shall see!

Ohhh, I would pay cash money to be a fly on the wall....perfectly written!

Author's Response:

I'd chip in if I could be there with you.  Thanks McGigi!

Swaying isn't dancing. Well that just sums up their relationship pretty perfectly, doesn't it?

There was no music this time, they swayed in time with the sound of their lips meeting over and over

God, you slay me. I just want them to get together so bad, it hurts. Do you think this means I need a real life? Hee. Loved it :)

Author's Response:

It's quite the accurate metaphor I agree.

It's almost to the point that it's physically painful.  I'm right there with you - so we can be life-less together.  LOL!  Glad you liked it.

Aww...that's so sweet.  Is this speculation for 3x02?

Author's Response: Thanks Lissa.  It's just a thought that's out there I think.  We know Phyllis is engaged and assume she'll have a wedding.  It's more of a wish than speculation at this point I think.  Still plausible though right?

oh....I liked it.  Nice, short and sweet.

Author's Response: I liked your review as well - for the very same reason. :)  Thanks Boof!

Now this is what I want to see on TV!!  What a delightfully warm and wonderful story!  I especially liked this line -

"The third time she was free and he was wary."

Author's Response: I hear ya kaystar.  It's what I want to see too.  Glad you liked it!!

This was excellent.  And hot ... and beautiful.  I love the way that you pull elements from the past and the (hopeful) future.  I could definitely see something like this happening. I imagine the cameramen hiding around a corner while we all simultaneously squeal in delight, watching this happen.  Yea!!!

Author's Response: Let's just keep our fingers crossed!!  Thanks GreenFish!

Interesting use of Phyllis' wedding as a catalyst. If only...

Author's Response: I've got wedding's on the brain.  Not my own sadly - but I just could totally see this happening - so I decided it would.   At least it happens here....LOL!

There was really no other option than to simply give in.

Clunk...the sound of another casualty hitting the dust. How beautiful is this? Achingly sweet. A little like torture too though, because it sooo encourages my need for instant gratification (at odds with 'good TV', I know.) Meanwhile, I appreciate your feeding the beast. So lovely....

Author's Response:

I can't write anything "present day" for these two until I see more about what's going on.  The wait is torture.

And this is my way of easing it a little. :)  I'm so glad you liked it.

*sigh*  Yay.  And double-yay for Phyllis, the new Mrs. Vance Refrigeration!

Also this:

His voice was low and husky in her ear, his breath tickling her skin.  "Song's over."

HAWT. Goodness.

Author's Response:

Thanks Lis!  I can just see Phyllis - so cute and all smiley.

And I'm pretty sure if it was me dancing with Jim I'd lose track of the world around me. ;)

Author's Response:

I got chills writing it so it's all good.

Apparently - it owns me too.   Thanks Gen!

Oh my god, that was just beautiful.  I'm really, really hoping that what we see bears some resemblance to this - because I could actually imagine it happening on the show.  Sigh.  Keep 'em coming!

Author's Response: Meeeeeeeeeeeeee too. :)  Thanks girl7!

Eeee!

Thank you, Fairy Godmother of JamFic!

Squeeing aside, I can see this happening  :D

Author's Response:

So could I.  The picture in my head manifested into this.

Not like it's a bad thing. :)

Thanks Shan!
