i loved this chapter! it was sweet and romantic. i loved the description of the wedding, and  Jim singing  was TOO cute!  rushing off to read the next chapter... :)

Author's Response: Yay! I'm so happy to hear that you enjoyed it, as it was one of the most stressful to write- for whatever reason. Which means the big Jim/Pam wedding is probably going to give me an ulcer. Oy! Wish me luck. Heh-heh.

ok, don't feel dirty. or do, but feel good about it :) b/c this was AMAZING. i can't believe that you're new to writing this. it was hot. and i loved how real it was. i was worried that Jim wouldn't be forgiving, but this Jim is just awesome. and instead of it being sappy and sweet forgiveness it was hot, sexy forgiveness. nice. :)

i love love love that you made the confirmation of their relationship about facebook! :) just like real life lol

Author's Response: Yes!! Facebook is so the way to tell someone you want to "be exclusive". Ha-ha. In college, I swear Facebook is the only way I communicated with any of my friends. :P

Loving the fic, and loving the playlist. Which Modest Mouse album is Little Motel on? I've not heard it before and it's gorgeous.

Author's Response: Oh goodness, I absolutely adore that song. "Little Motel" is on Modest Mouse's "We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank" CD. Thank you for the note; I'm glad you are enjoying the story. :)

This story was absolutely fantastic! I would have reviewed each individual chapter as I read (because I've been following pretty much since the beginning), but I'm just lazy. I must tell you, though, that this baby caught me by surprise. I was turned off at first by the different setting, the slight differences in some of the characters, etc. but then I found that it was easier for me to connect to the characters as college students (as that is what I am, and these are some of the things I'm going through). I liked thinking of them as having lives and futures, rather than being stuck working in an office in Scranton. And it was a little more pleasant to think about Jim & Pam getting together in this way, naturally, instead of going through all the drama that they did on the show. I liked seeing their story from the very beginning and witnessing the natural progression of their relationship. I also really liked how you incorporated the personalities of the rest of the characters - although sometimes it was a little hard to pin down Angela's persona or to imagine her, Pam and Kelly being so close.

But yeah, overall, this is one of my favorite stories on MTT. Great job!

I won't lie. I'm so sad this is over. It was definitely one of my favorite fic series. Maybe an epilogue with the wedding??? PLEASE? :( Journey as the first song and Keds as the wedding shoes?

I love the proposal and how fast she answered, I could totally see her doing that. and I love the end image of their his and hers Keds in the apartment.

The smut was nice but definitely not quite was I was expecting. Seems a little rougher than normal.

But I still love this and am so sad it's over. Great job.

Really liked the finish to the chapter. I am kind of sad it's come to an end though, but definitely definitely please right again, and soon!

Awww, great ending to a wonderful story! I loved your take on the engagement, very creative. Also enjoyed the sex scene very much! You're smut abilities have definitely improved throughout this story! I would love it if you would write a sequel or even another story. So get to thinking about plots! Also, happy early birthday! I turn 25 too next Friday!

Author's Response: Wow- coming from someone who writes some pretty hot, wonderful, amazing smut- thank you. I'm glad to hear you think I'm improving in that area- slowly but surely. It's definitely a process. :) I'm glad you enjoyed the story, and a sequel is still up in the air... It may happen, we shall see.

And happy early birthday! Yay, January babies! Thank you so much for reading.

I. Loved. This. Story. Start to finish. The old cliche "drop everything just to read it" doesn't even begin to describe what I did for this fic. I squealed with delight every email alert I received. And this chapter was a brilliant conclusion. I'm so glad Jim and Pam got their happy ending! I also enjoyed your allusions to the show (His near-proposal, etc etc.) and how they're similar but original in their own right. Okay, I'm rambling. But you are an amazing writer, and I cannot wait for whatever comes next!! you have my unending support, and based on your number of positive reviews, I'm not the only one! Congrats on the beautiful work! Please write more. (I won't pressure you into a sequel--i'm painfully aware of how suck-y those are when you're coerced.) But PLEEEASE continue posting!

Author's Response: Thank you so much, cri-man-squa. Love that name, btw. Cri-man-squa. F and C, doubletime! "Front and Center. Twice as fast as you would normally go. Any other questions?" Jim- "One more. Why are you talking like that?"

Ok, so I'm getting off track, but that's seriously one of my favorite scenes ever - I need two men on this, that's what she said- NO TIME- but she did- NO TIME!

Don't worry, I'm shutting up now. Anyhow, thank you so much for reading and reviewing. I'm so happy that you enjoyed the story from beginning to end, and that you think I should continue writing because I feel like I have so much to learn. (Correct grammar being one, for sure.) So thank you for taking this journey with me as I struggled through my first real piece of fic and- who knows- I may be inspired to pick something up again soon. ;)

Wow! What a finish! That's what she said.

Oh, this was great. Jim's proposal really brought a tear to my eye and I had to sniff and mask to my family that I'm kind of crying so thanks for that. They're relentless, you know, hehe. I said this already but this has really, really been so much fun to read and I cannot even believe there was a time you were even a smidge nervous about writing that smut stuff because jesus, how you've envolved. ;)

You already know where I stand on the sequel front, and you know I'd be totally on board in seeing where the future takes Jim and Pam, Keds included, so yeah.

You're amazing, my friend, and this has been so much lovely, brilliant, utter fun. I can't wait to read more from you! :)

Author's Response: I'm so happy you enjoyed A/U Jim's proposal. Although, I'm sorry I had you crying in front of your family. My apologies! :( That happened to me the other day when I watched Marley & Me and when I met up with my friends at Buffalo Wild Wings after, they're all, "Dude. Are you crying?!" And I'm all... "no... I'm tough, whatever. I'm not crying, crying is for whimps." Yeah. Sad movie.

Ha-ha, anyhow. If there is anything I'm going to miss from this story, it's definitely your wonderful, wonderful comments. Seriously, you have been amazing, and you are definitely motivating me to start up a sequel. I still feel like Chicago/Kenosha Jim and Pam have a lot of ground to cover and even more to share with all of you, so... who knows, they may appear again soon. ;)

Seriously, thank you so much for reading and for all of your amazing reviews. You have been so lovely and kind since the beginning, and that really means a lot.

I’m so sad this is over. It was really nice having such long chapters to read with such quick updates! It really brought me back to those college days (oh so long ago) when the hubby and I found each other and fell head-over-heals in love. Sigh. Don’t quite remember all that wild sex, but hey, I’m glad you indulged us fans--and dang have you made some fans! Can’t wait to read what you’ll come up with next, be it AU or anything else.

Author's Response: Yeah, I don't quite remember all that wild sex either when I was in college, but hey- I guess when you have a guy who looks, talks and walks like Jim Halpert... Pam just can't control herself. Ha-ha.

I'm glad you enjoyed this story, and thank you so much for taking the time to review. :)

Yeah, so here's the thing: I'm going to abandon all dignity and pretty much just BEG you to write a sequel to this. (Hint: a wedding is a good place to start). Seriously, down on my knees.

Oh, and nice engagement sex. And nice proposal. I'm kind of glad Jim wasn't in the empty apartment surrounded by candles and flowers. It's been done.

Author's Response: Yay! I'm glad you were pleased with the proposal. Major creative block there since it seems like almost every engagement has been done, so I prayed that it wouldn't be too cheesy and that it would go over well.

Oh yes, a sequel. I know, I know- this A/U Pam and Jim are only getting started on their journey and still have plenty more to share. I definitely feel that way, and I have a few ideas here and there. I promise, I will get started on a brainstorming tree and bust out the Venn diagrams and hopefully something will come to fruition soon. He-he.

Oh nooo it's over! :( sadness. I loved this story. That was an adorable proposal. I've never read anything remotely similar. wow. amazing. and obviously the mind blowingness of the aftermath was fun to read too. I love Pam's little speech on how she knew him before she even met him. awww that was adorable. I will miss Chicago Jim and Pam *tear* But I think she ended this beautifully and fittingly so bravo! Please write something else as soon as possible. :) I'm sure all of us would reeeeeally encourage you to do so. thanks for the story!

Author's Response: It's been such a treat to read your wonderful reviews after every chapter. I'm so happy that you enjoyed Jim's proposal. Gosh, I want an indie Jim so badly now. I am now pouting. Sad face.

Pam's list! Did anyone else make one of those lists in high school? Because I totally did, and I'm pretty sure I still have it. Sad.

So happy to hear that this A/U Jim doesn't scratch himself in public. Good to know. And she so knew someone better than Roy was out there, waiting for her... le sigh. I'm so glad you enjoyed this story, and thank you for all of the reviews! You have been so wonderfully amazing.

Oh. My. Um. Yeah.

Loved it. The whole story was fantastically wonderful and I really love that you had Kelly, Pam and Angela as BFFs. I can't wait to see what you write next!

Author's Response: I'm glad you were entertained by the idea of Kelly, Pam and Angela being friends. The Office has a real lack of actual girl talk/friendships on the show, which is kind of disappointing. We need more girl talk with Pam, so we can get the details on Jim- like boxers or briefs? What size shoe does he wear? How is he in bed? Hello? This is need to know information.

I'm glad you enjoyed the story, and thank you so much for reviewing. :0 <- for the record, that is supposed to be a smiley face (typo), but that "O" face is so making me laugh right now, and yes it probably has something to do with the fact that I was hanging out at a coffee shop and ate around 21 chocolate-covered espresso beans. Yeah, no sleep for this girl tonight.

Author's Response: Thirsty Schrute babies! See, now I feel like this story NEEDS a sequel, because we need to see some dang Schrute babies. There should be a whole other story just focused on Schrute babies. The Office spin-off? Schrute Babies. How perfect would that be? I would totally watch that. Why am I not the head of programming of NBC, you ask? Why, I don't know. But I should be.

Ha-ha. So, I'm all hopped up on espresso right now which is the reason for all this crazy talk. But, thank you so much for reading and reviewing. siggghhh, wonderful story! i think i said this in another review, but i'm so glad i actually took the chance to read this AU. before this, i wouldn't have taken a second glance, because, after all, i don't watch a show every week about pam and jim and their college kid life, you know? but this was so great, so i'm glad i started reading, because i got hooked!

um, how can i be subtle? please please please do a sequel. i think there would definitely be enough basis for one. i want to see jim and pam reach their respective career goals together, and do all that couple stuff, of course. =) great job!

Author's Response: I'm so happy that you took a chance on my story and that you enjoyed it. I was a bit reluctant myself at starting an AU, especially one away from Scranton and in college but hey- inspiration strikes and I just go with it. ;)

I haven't completely tossed away the idea of a sequel, because Chicago Jim and Chicago Pam still have a lot of growing to do. You just might see something soon. As you go down my reviews, you will probably see my responses go a little something like this: "I don't know if I will do a sequel... Ok, so I will THINK about doing a sequel... Ok, yeah, I've been tossing around ideas for a sequel... Yes, I might do a sequel now... A sequel may possibly be possible." So by the end of it all, I'll finally say, "Ok, fine, sequel is posted. Go read!" Haha. You all are wonderful motivators. Although, I really do want to start writing again. I have enjoyed sharing this story with you so much.

Author's Response: I'm so glad you were pleased with the proposal. If I were as good of an artist as our dear Pam, I would have scanned some pretty amazing drawings to go along with the story. But alas, I am nowhere close to being a decent artist, and I doubt anyone would want to see my stick figures. Although, I must admit, my stick figures are pretty kick ass. Seriously, one the best fics I've ever read. I can only hope that you continue to write, because these last 25 chapters were pure gold. The book Jim gave Pam and the accompaning phrases did me in - picture a little brunette sitting on the floor next to her bed with a green laptop just sobbing. That was me. I'm so sad to see this end, but am definitely looking forward to your future works!

As much as I wanted to read this chapter, I didn’t. I didn’t want this to be the end. I can’t say this enough, but this has honestly been my favourite story I have ever read (and I have read A LOT.)

So, the proposal book seriously WINS ALL. I think it may have actually have beaten the proposal on the show (the stick man? Oh I ADORE IT) – which blew me away, so omg I freaking love you. Every time I think you have killed me, you come back and kill me again.

What I love about your story is that is was just a beautiful love story about two people who met and fall in love, and yeah there are a few obstacles along the way, but they deal with them.

I love your style of writing, I love how you bring in tiny pieces from the show, how you include music to the stories, basically I just love you and would like to marry your fic writing brain (I’m sure the rest of you is lovely.)

The scene at the end WOW MAMA, that was totally hot, and I am so happy you had Jim use Karen’s gift on her cos mmm hot stuff!!!!

*Chants* SEQUEL - SEQUEL - SEQUEL - SEQUEL - SEQUEL - SEQUEL - SEQUEL - SEQUEL - SEQUEL .

Good luck with school, but feel free to entertain us whenever you’d like (maybe that mini series where Jim wears glasses, shaves, mows the lawn, puts up a shelf, gets man flu, changes a tyre, baby-sits his niece and nephew… shall I go on?)

I have never given every chapter of a series 10/10 before.

I will miss you omggggggg :)

Author's Response: Alright, so first of all you should know that it's around midnight and I'm all hopped up on espresso so this reply may possible make very little sense by the time I'm done. I'm so jittery that while trying to reply to your response, I accidentally hit "report this" a good five times. And I almost just gave in and said- fine I'll report it. Violation of rules: Um, yeah. How about, violation of awesome? Seriously, this person is just too awesome, it's kind of ridiculous. There is absolutely no way anyone can be this awesome. Please investigate, thx.

Oh man am I going to miss reading your lovely, wonderful, kick ass reviews. If anything, I will have to get started on a sequel just so I can continue to receive inspiration and cheer from you after every chapter. You, my friend, are amazing.

I'm so happy you enjoyed this story, and that you were satisfied with the proposal. Jim's stick figures- ha. I was so afraid that was going to be seen as ridiculously cheesy, so I'm happy to hear that you thought it was lovely. I thought it suited this A/U PB&J just... perfectly. And I'm still loving the idea of this mini-series, yes! Perhaps I could combine a sequel with our list of Jim fantasies which, btw, thank you for all of the wondeful ideas.

Scene: Bathroom. Jim is shaving, wearing nothing but a towel around his waist. Pam enters.
Pam: Hey, what's up.
Jim: Nothing. Just shaving. What's up with you?
Pam: Nothing much. Want to get in the shower and do it?

And it all progresses from there...

Scene: Living room. Jim is putting up a shelf, wearing nothing but jeans and a utility belt. Pam enters.
Pam: Hey, what's up?
Jim: Nothing much. Just putting up a shelf. What's up with you?
Pam: ...

Ok, so you catch my drift? Good. I think that's just how I will write the sequel, actually. About 150 words per chapter, nothing but dialogue and "Jim wearing nothing but a...." Ha-ha. Oh man, I need to lay off the coffee so late at night, this is getting sad.
