Author's Response: Yeah, you'd like to think that, wouldn't you? Personally, I think the show should have a double engagement break off and have Andy and Pam get together. That would be so awesome, wouldn't it? What? Why is no one agreeing with me nor dignifying me with a response?

What a nice early-morning suprise! Thanks for the quick update. This is shaping up to be a great fic, Wert, whether you like it or not. I really like your non-sugar-coated Pam (even though she's kind of a bitch). I think what I'm enjoying most, though, is the little holes you fill in--mention of the area code, Pam's grudging acknowledgment of Karen, Pam not realizing that Jim knew she was out drinking, etc. Oh, and forgot to mention last chap, LOVE the mention of the thin walls. I'm a sucker for that voyeuristic shit. Lastly, you can add to your list of accomplishments that you are really good at writing Shatner-esque! That gave me a good laugh :)

Any time you see a quick update from me, it means that I've already prewritten most of it ahead of time. And by early morning, it means that I posted it late the previous night. I NEVER get up in the morning.
We already all knew that Pam is kind of a bitch. I'm just bringing the bitch back. She's definitely more fun while not being the sugar and spice miss goody two shoes that so many people treat her as. I'm going to try to be as detailed as possible during this story. I went through and painstakingly reviewed all the episodes over this time period and noted every detail that I could find, and have been trying to work in any little bit into the fic, plus as much real life stuff as I could. As for the thin walls, at least in my rez in first year (we had a really old, crappy building that we still paid the same as those with brand new awesome buildings which pissed me off) the walls weren't soundproofed. Or smell-proofed for that matter.
RE: Shatner. Thanks. I'm a big fan. I watched the Comedy Central roast of William Shatner a couple of weeks ago. It was mostly just a big gay joke at George Takei's expense. Plus, Andy Dick was licking people.
