Author's Response: Thank you :) This one is me, through and through. Except it was my uncle (who is only a few years older then me, my mom is the oldest and he was the baby of the family, hence our closeness in age) and not my cousin who told me about the monsters. I still run up the stairs two at a time, it's something I've done for about 20 years now and I just can't stop, it's habit
