That was just... I don't even know. I go away to sunny, 95 degree Vegas for a week, and I come home to this, and it makes being back in rainy, cold Boston absolutely worth it.
“Nah, it’s just, I’m not…” he stammered. to "There you go…” he muttered under his breath.
That? That entire scene? That sums up every single thing I prayed for watching TO on my couch that night. How Jim just looked at her on the boat, and you knew exactly what he was thinking... wow. That was awesome. Please continue this soon - I'm on the edge of my seat!

This is a very satisfactory backstory for that fateful cruise and I like how you blended "Casino Night" into it too.
Lately, it's hard to recognize the Jim of S2 in the current Jim and reading him the way you've written him reminds very much of the old Jim. Great job!
