Bean! We call our little monster 'Bean' and she's now two. And yeah, gaining too much weight the first trimester isn't really a problem, since my appetite was shot.
Love Pam trying to explain the camera crew to the bean. And I relate to wanting to strangle the daddy. *sigh*
Author's Response: Hee! I think calling the baby Bean is the cutest thing (obviously!) I do tend to believe Jim is practically perfect - but I do believe even he has his faults. ;)

So happy to see an update, xoxoxo. I thought your details were perfect, and I agree with your timeframe insofar as when "Bean" is to be born. Pam couldn't have been more than a few--maybe four--weeks along when she found out, right? Anyway...this was the best: If you don't mind, for the purposes of these letters I'm going to keep calling you Jellybean. For one thing I think it sounds cute and for another (and this is going to sound weird and/or gross - I apologize) your dad insists that once upon a time I used them as a method to seduce him. Hee hee :) That Beesly is a sly one.

I actually can't wait to see that footage, because let me tell you Bean, the look on his face that day was completely priceless.
And I'm done. Gone. That was the most glorious statement I think I have EVER read on MTT. Pam telling her Bean about Jim's reaction (ie, utter elation) = perfection. You. Are. My. Hero.

This is terrific, xoxoxo. Love it! We called this girl I work with's baby 'the bean' when she was pregnant. :) Thank you!!! I didn't think calling the baby 'the bean' would exactly be original but it seemed to fit perfectly. It sounds in my head exactly like something they would do. These two are in my head A LOT. It's a bit of a problem. :) Oh Dwight. You know he's going to bust out some farm yard metaphor when he finds out about Pam being pregnant. So glad you liked it!
This part is particularly fabulous and encapsulates both Pam and Dwight in a way that made me grin:
I mean, I noticed today that Dwight was furiously writing down notes while staring intently at me.
It could totally be related to work - or he absolutely could be trying to figure out when I had my last period.
If he figures it out before your father and I do I'm going to be really annoyed.
Not to mention totally creeped out.

I'm so glad you're continuing this! Poor Pam. She sounds so uncomfortable right now. I love her comments about Dwight figuring out when she's due! And I'm having fun imagining Jim getting a kick out of pregnant Pam. Even if he is risking his life. ;-) If you do continue this, it might even be fun to read a letter from him as well. But if you want to keep it just Pam, that's great too. I love the way you write her.
