I'd love to see Pam come up with some kind of creative way to get Ben to start to accept baths. It's more like an outsider's look in - and she's creative. Maybe she'll have a fresher perspective now?

Hi there, I'm Megan. I just signed up for this place after reading this story, because I promise you that only this story could keep me wide awake, sobbing at 2 in the morning. This is incredible, I'm am truly impressed, although I'm mad at you for making me crying like a baby this late at night! LOL. I hate reading, but this story is grabbing me so tightly, I need more. I don't even know where to begin....uhm....Okay, I usually object to reading stories that are of Jim and Pam in the future, because I'm afraid the story will not match my already determined future for them (in my head, of course). But wow, I am SO glad I gave this one a try. I don't really know how to critique this, other than your breaking my heart LOL. I've read so many Jam Fictions in the past that I had to stop reading, for two reasons: 1. They were inappropriate and even though I am mature, I didn't feel comfortable reading them. or 2, the MOST important: They became unrealistic to me, I could no longer hear Jim's voice or Pam's voice as I read the dialogue, and I could no longer picture the two of them in the scenario the author created. And the reason the tell you this is the best Jam Fiction I've ever read is because I never for a second doubted that Jim or Pam would be saying these things or acting this way in the situation you created. And that, in my opinion, is the best quality a fiction could have, it brings out so much more emotion and realism and it means so much more to me. Alright, I'm not going to ramble or else you'll get bored of me already (This is my first post on this site!). But I am truly in awe of your work. Brilliant job....and don't keep me in suspense much longer!
Author's Response: I’m extremely flattered and thrilled with that you’ve taken the time to read and review my story. I just want to give you a huge hug because what you’ve said meant a lot to me. First off, sorry about the sobbing at 2 in the morning—I hope I can make up for it with lots of fluff in later chapters. Second, I’m totally with you when it comes to fanfics because I also have their future (and present—I know weird) predestined in my head. The unrealistic thing is also a big deal for me. For example, I can’t picture Jim being overly angry or Pam being overly independent. So, it really flatters me that my efforts in keeping them in character haven’t gone unnoticed, even in the scenario I’ve created. These characters and the show are very dear to me, and to know that I did okay in depicting them just sends me over the moon. I can’t thank you enough for all your kind words! This will totally help me get through the day at my job as a secretary/receptionist today! (Oh, the irony!) And I promise there will be more chapters coming your way!rn rn

She remembered :) I'm still loving this story, obviously. And apparently, I lost the good friend reward because I forgot to mention this story to another friend who discovered it today and promptly chastised me for not telling her about it. That was a a really convoluted sentence. Anyways, this chapter still awesome and there needs to be more more more!

Yeah-she remembers! I was squealing so loud when Pam said “Absolutely I do.” And then Jim picking her up and swinging her around? Soooo cute! I need to go read some angst to calm down now :) Please, please, please continue!
Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it. I wanted her to remember something small, to at least give poor Jim a little hope, and that just seemed to fit, and it is also such a staple phrase to the show. Trust me, there will be more chapters to come (I hope I didn't scare my Betas!), and season six is still a good month from now, so I have to get my Office fix here! Oh, I am absolutely LOVING this story! I love the pace you are taking; it's realistically slow and gives the reader a lot of time to enjoy watching Pam & Jim become reacquainted.
I'm looking forward to LOTS more chapters!

Sometimes I think it's going slow and people are probably wanting to see her remember more and stuff. So it meant a lot that you said that! There will be more chapters to come! Oh, I am still with you. This story is so wonderful. I love the connection that Pam is making with the kids and how she is slowly taking notice of her hot husband. Also, I love how you made Jim so respectful of her recovery. He's so respectful it's sexy ;-)
