this was the best chapter so far, i loved the kangaroo care, and when pam whistled at jim. NICE (kevin style, uh duh!)

sorry i didn't see this sooner, i've been busy with school, and i guess i thought i'd read the most recent chapter. can't wait for more!

This story works me up to a point where I WANT A BABY. NOW. Also, the second linked photo looks like it could totally be Jim. Loving this.

this whole thing makes me think about abby and neela's turn in the NICU and how they hated it, then joe had to stay in there, and how maggie wouldn't leave. but very good lol

THANK YOU FOR PUTTING IN ABBY :D

the best OB delivery i've ever seen is when abby has Joe, and that song is playing and she's like "no, no, go with him, I don't want him to be ALONE!" makes me cry everytime. thank you for putting her in there, oh and carol. :)

When you had them place JD against their skin I died - that was so beautifully written babes. And Jim taking off his shirt? mmmmmmm :)

moreeeeeee

Author's Response: i rejoiced at the chance to get jim shirtless. ;oP

Great Chapter. I so got the ER reference. When Jim says "I always knew you loved your kids… I just never realized how much you fell in love with them." That is what Susan said when she lost her niece.

Author's Response: 50 Schrute bucks to EMT1215!!

This chapter is just so adorable, I can't wait until J.D. gets out of the hospital. I think I got the E.R. reference, (Abby)

Author's Response: well, that isn't the reference i was going for..... all the nurses here are named after characters on ER. ok, i'll give you 5 Schrute bucks for that. :o) the reference is a line of dialogue, and it's from season 2, so i really don't expect anyone to get it.

sounds good to me, it'll be nice to see jim and pam try to get back into a routine, and pam leaving the hospital. what a great story, i love it! can't wait for more, and the epilogue sounds great!

wow. that's a lot to happen in one week. very sorry to hear about your sister's brain disorder, that must have been really hard at first, but it's good to hear that you can feel it's a routine thing now. and yay, you're dad doesn't have cancer! that's a lot to deal with, yet you continue to please all of us MTT readers. you're amazing, just deal with it :)

aww, that was so cute, great job with this chapter, it's nice to see something happy finally happening. one question, are you going to continue this only until JD gets out of the hospital, or a little bit afterwards? i know it'll be a couple weeks until we see JD leave though. anyway, just curious, and great job, finally a completely happy chapter!

Author's Response: it's going to end when he comes home, but i already have an epilogue written that takes place 2 1/2 years in the future.

oh my god, how did i miss all these chapters??? i think i have two or three to catch up on, but they're really good so far! i feel so out of the loop, sorry to hear about your dad and sister in the hospital, i'm glad to hear they're okay though, what happened? (i don't mean to pry, you don't have to say if you don't want to). anyway, looking forward to reading! nice work her f-champ!

Author's Response: dad and sister... on the 26th, my sister had brain surgery (she has a brain disorder, so it's something that's become fairly routine), and then on the 28th my dad had part of his colon removed. he had a large pre-cancerous polyp, but the pathology report from the surgery came back negative for cancer, so yay! the scheduling snafu came from my dad's surgery being scheduled in advance, but my sister's was scheduled just 5 days in advance.

Finally, we get to meet mini-Jim! I love the nickname Jim gave to J.D. Too cute! And thank you for not making Pam suffers too much. I don't think I can read a lot of stuff about blood transfusion and surgeries or anything like that.

Also, thank you for the medical glossary (you're very thorough!) so that I don't have to google the stuff I don't understand.

Looking forward to when Pam meets Tennis Ball Head ;o)

I have alot of catching up to do on my reviews.  You have done a great job with all the medical stuff.  Your glossary is fantastic!  I was so nervous when Pam was delivering JD but I kept telling myself you promised a happy ending!  Thank you for all your updates even though it sounds like you have your hands full.

that was beautiful, so chock-full of reality, and jim had some great lines in there. the supporting characters are incredible! great job, FlonkertonChamp!

i'm kind of sad john krasinski is engaged, even though i'm 10 years younger than him i was so sad to read that. then i went to office tally and accidentally looked at a spoiler picture of jim and pam in their wedding attire. and read a blurb about their wedding location the other day.

life is harsh when you see/read things you don't want to know. but this story is amazing to me every time i read it.

sorry for ranting.

Author's Response: gah, i'm sad he's engaged too. emily blunt... that bitch! (kidding!) jenna broke a bunch of guys' hearts when she got engaged, and now john has broken a bunch of girls' hearts. meanies.

oh my god, oh my god! so realistic, post the next chapter already! god!

did you seriously go through all this? and did you know all of these medical terms off the top of your head? wow. i realize this can happen sometimes, but it's intense to read about it, from somebody who's been through this. great job, on both, is all i have to say at this point.

and get that chapter up tonight, please!

Author's Response: no, i've never gone through this, and i hope i never will. my friend sort of has... she had twins at 34 weeks because of a placental abruption, but she had no complications, and her little dudes were 5 lbs each. and now they're 8 months old and big chunkers at 20 lbs each. :o) But the medical stuff..... i watch a LOT of ER, and a lot of discovery health channel. i'm a bit of a medical nerd. and yeah, i knew almost all the terms off the top of my head... some i had to look up. like FFP... i knew that it helped blood clot, but didn't know what it stood for.

"We should get you a nurse’s costume.”

“So not the time, Jim.” Pam closed her eyes and sighed.

Seriously hilarious, update soon!
