Wow, where to start. The way Jim feels when he finds out, the way Pam teases him about being emotional, the way she can't wait to tell him and he can't wait to tell everyone. You really captured the heart of JAM's relationship. I hope inspiration smacks you again soon, because I love these quiet, intimate family moments:)

Vampie, this was a lovely little snapshot of married life Chez Halpert. The interaction between Jim and Pam was so heartfelt and intimate. I know you say that you have an irrational fear of betas, and I can certainly understand that. I know it would be hard for me to put my work in front of someone and possibly have them not like it. However, in this case, I think a very basic proofreading would have made it that much more delicious. As far as the story itself, I wouldn't change a thing. It was just beautiful. Hoping you get that smack of inspiration :)
Author's Response: I did actually proofread, but sometimes people are blind to their own mistakes. I've had a lot of bad experiences with betas and basic fanfiction writing. I'm very nervous with this community but so far my experience has been nice. Thank you for your review.

Oh this is getting favorited in a MAJOR WAY. Wow...just everything about this piece is so beautifully intimate. As much as I want Jim to be there for every moment of this process, I think the fact that he wasn't just adds another layer of passion to the way he feels about the baby and his wife...oh and the kisses...the kisses on her stomach, then her mouth...His wanting to tell everyone they both know. This is really just perfect. Awesome job.

I'm sorry about your irrational fear of betas - I assume you mean the fish as I think everyone who betas here are fellow Jim and Pam fans who just want to be helpful and bring out the best in our authors.
