This was beautiful times infinity. I'm so sad to see it's over, but it had such a lovely ending, thank you SO MUCH for writing this.

I wanted to post all the things I loved from this chapter, but it would have involved copying and pasting the entire story ;)

Adding to my faves. You have fast become one of my favourite authors on here. Keep it up.

*Goes to re read the whole thing again*

"She lays the piece of paper on the coffee table and the two scribbled c’s stare back at me."

- Thats a killer. Great writing, great story!!

Your story was amazing. Thank you so much for writing and sharing. It was scary, it was sweet, it was sad, it really was perfect. And the epilogue you ended with was a wonderful conclusion. Again, amazing.

A beautiful ending to a breathtaking story. I'm so happy to have had the privilege of reading this, your story was so down to earth and honest, while being full of sweet, loving moments. I really loved this ending - usually when a story ends I beg and plead and whine for the author to continue, but it's only when they have done a stellar job of concluding their tale (such as you have done) that I am able to keep my mouth shut. Showing them at a survivor's walk was brilliant, and I loved the characters of Bonnie, Kara and Cindy. I think your best line throughout this entire story was from this chapter, "After Cindy bids us goodbye, Bonnie tells me her daughter died of a malignant brain tumor two years ago. Cece looked like her. A shiver runs through my spine." I felt a shiver, too, reading that.

Congratulations on a wonderful story, and I'm really looking forwards to whatever you come up with next. :) Claire

Hi. I have to be honest, there were parts of this story that tore me up so much I had to stop reading because of the tears. But I truly believe that is a testament to how incredible an author you are. This epilogue was utterly gorgeous. I love them doing this 5K memorial walk, in his honor. I love the little glimpse into both of their minds in the first person setting here, it's so wonderful. I love how they mingle with people, it's truly a cathartic experience to talk to people who are going through or have gone through the same experience as you have. It's so touching, the little ice cream part, where they're all covered in chocolate, and they saved some for Pam, I'm not sure why I thought that was so cute and super sweet. What a touching tribute to your uncle, and what a fantastic wonderfully beautiful way to wrap up this heart-breakingly real story you've created. I love that they're so in love and made it through the worst possible time in their life, and come out seemingly stronger and more in love with one another and their family. Lovely.

As usual my dear, you've done it again. A story that brought me to tears, gripped my heart, made me think of my Nana, my relationship with my parents...so, so amazing.

You have a knack for stories like this. Please, please, please bring us another like this soon.
I don't know what I'd do without the comfort of a story like this, this was like chicken soup the whole way through.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, SO GOOD.
