Oh and some constructive feedback: I still like your characterization. You can feel the awkwardness and tension between the two of them. I really hope this continues until the branches merge because I'd love to see how they react to the news! :)

I really love this story. I love how the both so anxious about the pending webcam talk and how Jim resolves to press her. I can't wait to see if he does what he says he's going to do.

Awwww, MAN! That went by way too fast! I'm enjoying this slow build up. While this is AU, it feels very realistic. They're taking baby steps. Should I maybe be a little excited about Diwali? ;)

You had better work on the next chapter tomorrow. I can't believe you left us THERE. I want, no, NEED to know what happens next.
I love the little steps they're both taking, but are both unsure as to what the other person is ACTUALLY saying. Jim doesn't want to get his heart broken again, so he's being extra careful and I adore that.
Pam's, I don't think there's anyone I can date in Scranton line killed me, that is going to fuck up poor Jim's head LOL. Bring it ON.
Author's Response: LOL Yes, I'm working on the next chapter right now! As soon as I'm finished replying to reviews that is. Which only gives me a little bit of time to start but I'm definitely on it :) Yes, this is a little steps kind of story. Im having so much fun coming up with little ways for them to communicate now that the doors have opened, since she didn't blow him off, I definitely think he's more receptive to her. I'm glad you like my tentative Jim. Don't worry though, more will be on the way soon and you'll see where I end up when I get there.
