Oh man :( Poor pam And jim... and it was such a lovely day too!
One thing I feel is very important with an AU like this is for the author to show us why jim and Pam are they way they are... Why they’re feeling like they’ve been best friends forever after knowing each other after only one lunch together, why that connection is what it is…and not rely on what we know from the show to back up the story. And I feel like you’ve really done well with that so far.
I’m really looking forward to the next chapter to see how jim gets his butt of his mess.

I thrive on conflict 😬 I love how you’ve been incorporating little lines from the show, but in tour own context. I see a lot of authors try this and it just seems forced or way too cheesy, but you’ve done it seamlessly. I also liked when Pam realized that she might be overreacting. And making the first move! I like modern day Beesly. I can’t wait to see how Jim digs his way out of this one!

Still all very cute and sweet. I like how you're setting up this romance. It doesn't feel forced, just Jim and Pam (in college granted) being themselves.
The thing I think this story could use would be some tension or conflict. Now those words can mean a lot of different things. Be it either Roy or Karen trying to get back in the picture, family drama, Prof. Michael Scott being insane, medical emergency, the list can go on. Not that I want this version of Jim and Pam to break up, because they're very great together. Something that would cause them to come together even closer through shared experience.

I think so too, I’m just deciding how to do it right without derailing their journey TOO much. I’m thinking either Karen or Katy would be a good speed bump to throw at them (& I actually kinda like Karen, despite how I portrayed her at the party, so I’m leaning towards Katy.) my next chapter is still pretty damned fluffy, but with a tiny twist of angst/misunderstanding that might help with that balance.

It was a classic “oops we fell asleep and now we’re cuddling” but, but I love how you did it—all clothes, and Pam actually jumping out of bed before Jim had a chance to realize it. It gave them this sense of innocence that don’t ishally see. I love this story! I can’t wait to see them finally fall for each other :)

I feel you on that, I honestly can’t stand Roy so if he is in this at all, it will probably be a footnote or a reference to a high school relationship that didn’t end well! I like to write Pam more like she was towards the end of the show, funny and more brave but still a little insecure at times.

And it’s whole new set of challenges that come with today’s media-saturated world! I think I’ll probably have the emoji thing come up again, but that’s about it.
