Interesting start to this one. As a committed Oscar fan (and as someone who always saw him as having a great deal of affection for Pam), I appreciate you giving him the chance to pre-redeem himself for Business School here. This also feels realistic, the sort of small change you can easily imagine happening and setting events on a very different path.
Looking forward to seeing where you go with this!

This is an interesting setup and I'm looking forward to moving into the story. It's reasonably in canon and does a good job of presenting emotional stakes.

I so, so love a good twist on Season 3. This is a really lovely setup. I’m so glad to see Pam striving for some of that Fancy New Beesly boldness, even if things aren’t working out the way she would like with Jim.
Pam and Oscar’s friendship was great to see here. I hope she doesn’t overhear the same art show conversation as canon because I can imagine that would be all sorts of crushing with Oscar poised as one of her support people.
I’m really interested to see where you go with this - and who you have catching Pam’s attention...

Yes it's a good set up to what it seems you're planning. Even though Jim is here with Karen and Pam is about to be with someone new, they still seem to share a connection even if they don't know it or want to know it. It very much feels like they both know they're not over the other one, but they're almost forcing themselves to try. At least that's what I'm getting out of it.
Nice to get into their headspace like this though.
