A multi-chapter! Fun!

There are a couple strong characterizations I want to note here. Pam was totally the reading in the corner with the rainbow popcorn girl at the party girl in high school, so this both feels a lot like canon her and is a strong image to start with. She comes off like a Rainbow Rowell heroine throughout this chapter. Kelly liking people with a lot to say because she has a lot to say is great.

Jim's line about the "desire to get to know at first sight" feels like a very teenager-y thing to say, and the hug at midnight was adorable. I *really* like the choice not to force their first kiss, especially in light of that thought from Jim. It lets this chapter be about two people who are forming a bond and making a connection, which is a great foundation for a slow burn.

Looking forward to seeing where you go with this and where 1994 takes Jim and Pam! (Also, them bonding over Meatloaf is *very* charmingly 90s.)

P.S. Quick beta notes: in the first sentence, "she was sat on" could use a little cleanup, and in the third paragraph, should be were and not we're. Should be the obnoxious speakers the Kapoors owned and Jim owned a flannel shirt over what seemed to be a; let alone dancing at them; I'm the type for dancing not time. At the eight second mark, should be Pam.

Very cute way for them to meet up. Teenage Pam and Jim are adorable. There's sparks flying off everywhich way and I love seeing that. 1994 absolutly looks like it's off to a good start for these two. Hopefully it can stay that way for a while as well. Nice job.
