This moment of Pam realizing she and Roy's good memories all come from their distant path is poignant, and feels insightful - they lasted this long in a bad relationship because they didn't really grasp that it had stopped being good.
Also appreciate you acknowledging that Pam comes from people who are canonically in an unhappy marriage themselves.

Nice way of getting Pam into this space. Though it's also more than a little bittersweet since we know Jim never got that letter. So here's Pam thinking she's ready to start something with Jim, Jim not knowing anything about that, and a big set up for more angst we need to wade through.
Especially with that text she sent him there at the end. I can only imagine that that will only drive a deeper wedge into Jim's heart when he gets it.
