Ahh this is so good (and so sad!) You can just see on Jim's face in that episode that he's right back to where he started watching Pam with Roy, despite all his attempts, and this captures that so well. I really like the 'he was sinking down that deep icy darkness all over again' line.

Thank you! I felt so sorry for Jim there... and even more for Pam. Even 'Casino Night' didn't hurt me as much as 'Phyllis' Wedding' :(

Yeah, Jim's face during the recpetion kind of says it all. Especially after his brief theoretical talking head. Really nailed one of the low points of their relationship.
