I loved this but of course, being written by you, I knew I would.

For some reason, Schrute Farms is one of my favorite places of the series so it feels perfect that this story is there.
I literally laughed at the cats doing the nativity and then this- "He wanted to do that, at first, but I convinced him that one should never mix love and business."SO so funny.

But then the ending, the flawless romantic button to all the crazy humor. This was amazing BT! Happy Holidays!

Okay, I loved this. The mood and atmosphere you created came across so well visually, and that present from Jim? To die for.

“Jim, you’ll scare him. Don’t be impish.”

LOL

The cat nativity absolutely sent me, lmao... I love that Angela got to put those PPC skillz to good use.

I love a good post season 9 story and this was a great one! So many awesome parts here. I love that Dwight pranks Jim, you got Fannie in there, the cat nativity, the dolls, but oh, the present Jim gives. Genius. Feels like a canon present Jim would have given Pam. Fab story!

Okay, this Cece/Pam exchange where she's leaning out of her carseat is adorable. I love Pam finding her Mom Voice, and Cece obeying the letter and not the spirit of her words.

I also love the choice to make this a genuinely impressive Christmas display. This feels like the sort of thing Dwight would be good at with Angela's encouragement - a combination of spectacle, obscure knowledge, Christianity and profit-seeking. And the money prank is very much something Dwight would have come up with. (And the cat nativity scene will haunt my dreams, so thank you for throwing in the bickering wise men.) This ends up coming off like a Christmas episode of The Farm, the kind you'd tune into as an Office fan even if you were a hard pass on The Farm.

"Angela preferred communicating the old fashioned way, letters sent through the postal service, which made it hard to be quite as snarky as she could be in person." I love this on so many levels. VERY Angela, and the distance would definitely enable Pam to appreciate Angela's good qualities a little more.

Ngl - got very dusty over here on my couch during the caricature drawing scene. VERY dusty. And there were onions in that dusty.

“They were. But nobody can keep a secret like a corn husk doll.” Oh, Dwight. AND THE WAY THEY CAME BACK! AND HOW THAT TURNED OUT TO BE PART OF THE RECIPE! Well done.

And that present was outstandingly conceived.

This was incredibly sweet.

I loveddddd this! The fifth corn husk was probably my favorite, I think I was just as happy as Jim. But I also loved that Jim and Pam got pranked by Dwight immediately at the admissions table, that was so on point and I died laughing when Dwight showed up. I also died when the live nativity was all cats. How freaking perfect. And then you got all of the cute, sweet moments like Pam falling asleep on jim’s shoulder and his notebook and the great kiss after he finds out about the possible new baby. Ugh. I loved it all.

So everything about this was wonderful, adorable, fun, warm, funny, completely in character, and Christmas-y. I loved every bit of it. Wonderful to see the relationship the Schrutes and Halperts built up remains strong.

Dwight turning the farm into a Christmas village complete with merchandise fits the bill for him. What better way for him to advertise the farming lifestyle and also sell more beet products.

Kinda had a hint of the third kiddo when Pam refused the wine. Very lovely to find the third cornhusk doll. Jim's present to Pam was so very sweet. Makes me sentimental too. A year before our wedding my wife wrote up 365 little slips of paper and put them in a toolbox. It was an "I love you" a day until we got married. Very sweet to see something like that pop up. Also very much in Jim's wheelhouse. Still a big Jim gesture in the time it takes to complete, but a bit more subtle and refined. Loved it.

The kids were all wonderful to imagine too. Cece dashing all over the place. Phil asking questions about everything. Wonderful.

Great job with this one BT

BT this was amazing! I cracked up at "Peepa and Fillmore." That totally tracks that Dwight "forgot" Phillip Halpert's name. And I loved Jim’s gift to Pam so much. The two of them have such a rich history to pull from when making sentimental gifts, and you wrote it so well.

This was so good! It's hard to nail my favorite part, but the cat nativity is definitely up there. I laughed out loud at how perfectly Angela that is. Haha

I also absolutely adored Jim's gift to Pam. So freaking perfect! As always, you knocked this one out of the park and worked in the elements so well, and it was so fun to read!
