one thing: you never ever ever EVER put a baby on a couch unattended. that's just a fall waiting to happen. and considering that little jill was mobile by then, having her out of a crib is another recipe for disaster.
other than that, this was perfect!

I've passed over this title until today, thinking it would be sappy and gooey. I read the first chapter and thought, wow, this is really good. I read the next and realized it was great. Then, I clicked on the down arrow and squealed like a little girl because I had 13 more chapters to read!
Unbelievably good. I laughed, I cried, I think I even snorted once. Then, I skimmed through the whole thing again.
The Office (and the fans!) would be lucky to add you to their team of writers. Your writing feels effortless. Jim's voice - inner and outer - is perfect. The dialog, the banter, I can hear the actors voices read your words.
Thank you!

Aww it was nice to see Pam doing something really really sweet for once! Its seems more special too cos we know Jim can do that sort of thing no problem but its a big deal for Pam. And she got the courage - awwww! Its a big deal - this was a GORGEOUS chapter. My fav story by far - update soon!

"I have never gotten out a sheet of paper with the intention of using it to write down all of my feelings for someone. I do that with colored pencils or with paint...but never this way."
I really like this analysis of Pam's artistic skills- how they help her express things in an abstract way b/c she's not so good at doing so in a concrete way. Excellent chapter, overall. Pam saying that all the other babies 'should just go home' is so cute/hilarious I can't stand it. I love this story!

Wow, that was some letter! Aw, Pam. He really is the best daddy, and she is the best mommy/wife for realizing that and managing to articulate it so well in that letter.

Hee :-D I want to have a baby, and I want it to be with Jim. You make it all seem perfect. How can we make this happen?

I don't know how you do what you do, but...you need to just keep doing it. Never stop. Seriously.
This was just so incredibly perfect. I loved everything. Everything.

Awesome. Just. . .awesome! I think the thing I love most about this story is how well you describe Jim and Pam's interactions. I could totally see them doing this. I wouldn't be surprised if the writers of the show were reading this and used this for future episodes. You characterized Pam perfectly, I could totally see her writing something all mushy and then being bashful about it. I'm seriously loving every chapter you write. Baby Jill is wonderful, and the way you write her, she's just so darn cute!
I actually pump my fist when I see that you've updated. I think that says enough.

Ok, so I've totally schlubbed off work today and read this story in between assignments, and WOW...this is soooo great! It's making my favorites for sure!

So perfect! Haha. I love every installment of this. And I love how you keep it so topical, for Mother's and Father's Days.
Thanks! Always a joy to read.

I thought I had left a review for this chapter already, but I guess I haven't (foolish, foolish me!!) You have woven this amazing and utterly believable story of Jim and Pam as parents. Everything you write just comes across as so real and so very true. It's beautiful and poetic. Completely and utterly always devour your chapters. Please, never let this fic end! LOL

Once more, your story never crosses that line between sweet/hearfelt and googly schmoop. (And it's a hard one to tow, I know.) Is it the wit? The perfect character voices? The touch o'sexy? Whatever it is you're doing, it works.
yep, it's the same hand alright...this one tastes like chicken.
LOL. And all Jim's kissing Jill's little face and fingers and Pam appreciating and loving him so much? Utterly delicious. You've just created another puddle of Colette. Hope your happy now ;-)

A-MA-Zing. Sweeter than the icing on the cinnamon rolls. (And we call HooBaby "Lily Bean", so "Jilly Bean" made me grin like a fool.)

oh my goodness!!! i LOVE this SOOO much! This fic always makes me smile and swoon, but you outdid yourself. Jim IS the best daddy, and Pam is SO precious. What I love about this is how absolutely in love they are. it's wonderful. GREAT chapter and so well timed :)

Aw! To quote you, this was thoughtful and sweet and charming (I added that last one). And She's like Baby Ala Mode? hahahahaha. Oh, and the most funny:
"Jim, it's Father's Day...If we can't have cinnamon rolls and sex at noon today...when can we?"

LoveFool, it's official. You absolutely, positively, most definitely CANNOT top this chapter. It's just impossible. I'll eat a can of worms if you do.
(You won't actually hold me to that, will you?)

This was great. I think you write Jam fluff better than just about anyone else.
