Best line: "Oh, Pam," he breathes. "It's not—you know what, it doesn't matter. I'm not going to tell you who to hang out with."

I could TOTALLY imagine how Jim would say that.

"Instead, she watches the subtle smiles and touches Jim and Karen share and somehow remembers to breathe." - what a poignant line. I can't imagine how Pam gets through a day with out tripping over the broken pieces of her heart.

Author's Response: Oh, that makes me sad to think about. But I'm really proud of who she's become the past few months and I hope we'll see Fancy New Beesly do some things we don't even expect. Thanks so much for reading!

You've done a really great job of writing Pam's loneliness and frustration. And of course this line: "It's not—you know what, it doesn't matter. I'm not going to tell you who to hang out with." broke my heart.

Author's Response: Thank you so much! Thanks for reading!

You did a great job of conveying this over and over this chapter That makes the loneliness more palpable, because she has him there, but she knows he is no longer hers. I can feel her loneliness, But why oh why doesn't she talk to him when he asks? Oh, Pam....
