I can really feel the awkwardness and uncertainty and I love the little ways you have them reaching out to each other, slowly.

This is excellent so far! You've really got their dynamic down - keeping things light and cutesy to avoid the deeper stuff. My heart dropped into my stomach when he worked things out with Karen - I really thought they were over! Very realistic though - couples have fights, and it's not always the end of the world.

This is so lovely. The tentativeness in the steps they are taking combined to the ambiguity due to Jim's relationship with Karen. Intriguing. Can't wait to read more.
Author's Response: I'm really glad you like it so far! And thanks so much for always reading and reviewing!

Go, Fancy New Beesly!
You've written Pam nicely in character -- with some of her old tentativeness, but also with her new courage.
Author's Response: I love Pam. I always enjoyed her, but I think I've sympathized with her a lot more this season than Jim (although I love him too.) So I'm really glad you like this so far!

Ooh, love this so far! There's such a feeling of sadness from Pam that upsets me but it really works. I think that's exactly how she'd be feeling. You've got it down perfectly. And all her interactions with Jim are similarly just how I think they'd be. I guess what I'm trying to say is this is very realistic and well characterised! It's melancholy, but there's also a real sense of hope that you're getting across. I love it. I can't wait for more. Karen is never going to be anything to Jim the way Pam is... not that I don't like her or feel sorry for her, but that's just the way things go! Really looking forward to reading more of this. Fantastic work!
Author's Response: Wow, thank you so much! I hope you like the last part!

This is very promising. I can't wait to read about the wedding.

It's like some odd game of fate played by the universe Like their whole relationship has been. But I like that Pam shows up at his game, that he's taking some initiative, that she's taking more steps forward with her art and that they'll both be at Phyllis' wedding!
Author's Response: Exactly, yaay for Phyllis's wedding! Thanks so much for your reviews!

I like that you've written this from Pam's POV. How will you deal with February? Can't wait to read it.
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad you like it so far!

Duuuuude. What's going ON with Jim and Karen? This story has been so elusive. They're on again, off again. And Pam.... GAH. Ask him out, do something. YEESH.
I totally love how you have Jim coaching basketball to 7 and 8 year-olds. Awesome. And it really is FNB for her to come to a game of his, so, yea on that. I'm really, really looking forward to the next chapter.
Author's Response:
You will find out what's up with Jim and Karen in the last part, I promise. I just didn't want them breaking up in the middle of the story, because I sort of wanted to do something different than a lot of the stories being written now (not that they aren't lovely, but I didn't want to step on anyone's toes.)
Also, hee, Fancy New Beesly. I'm glad you liked Jim coaching!

Wow. I found part two here instead of over at LJ, but this part is just as loverly as the first. I can't wait for the rest!
Author's Response: Thanks for finding me! I just hope that February holds up to everyone's expectations!
