‘Good. Let’s get you home and into a bath.’

SO happy that Jim finally got to reap the benefits of THAT line! ;-)

Author's Response: That scene where she said it to Roy - and Jim's pained reaction - have always bugged me. Just had to make it right. Thanks again!

Pam cut him a ridiculously large piece. He responded by taking a ridiculously huge bite. He was ridiculously in love.

THE BEST. Can I tell you how ecstatic I am that you decided to do a Vignettes II??!!! The first one is one of my faves, so this did my heart so good! Thank you!

Author's Response: Thank you so much...I actually hesitated to do a sequel, but my need for silliness won out. So happy to hear it made you happy too.

I absolutely love Jim playing basketball--especially the part about him lifting up his shirt for a moment.  My favorite part, though, had to be "let's get you home and into a bath."  You put a much happier spin on that line since we heard it last!

Author's Response: Seriously - turn-around is fair play. Glad this worked for you...and thanks for the kind words!

Seriously, nothing hotter than Jim playing basketball.

I love the idea of Pam getting Jim so turned on, and him getting all flustered.  And I love their playful banter.

These Vignettes just confirm for me that Jim and Pam are meant to be, and you just sort of know that all they really need to be happy is each other.

Author's Response: Jim + basketball = my favorite daydream. Glad to share it with the like-minded!  I figure it could be years before we see anything this happy on the show, so I had to take matters into my own hands. Nice change from writing stories where I torture them too. Thanks so much!

I love sequels.  I love sequels written by you.  I love birthday cake and have acquired a fondness for basketball.  What an utterly delicious treat.  I'm (not so) patiently waiting for more!

Author's Response: So glad that these bits had the desired effect! Sometimes you just need a good sugar rush. More to come, and this time, it'll earn the 'M' rating (just warning you, in case you want to cover your delicate eyes!) As always, thanks for being such a great enabler (for my serious Jim habit!)

Oh. My.  Sweaty, basketball-playing, heavy-breathing, good-with-his-hands, half-clothed Jim.  Niiiiiice.

Author's Response: Well, honestly, what could be nicer? Glad you agree. Thanks lisahoo!

All the parts with Pam lusting over basketball Jim were great, erotic even. And I love that he can get away with teasing her about being the Queen of Denial. I like to think they'll be able to laugh about all the angst someday.

Author's Response: There was a certain zing to watching him play in the Basketball episode. Worked for me. Wouldn't it be nice to see them look back and laugh? Thanks for reviewing!

Aw. Such a great line. You've written his happiness so well it's contagious.

And Pam had somehow managed to bake this elusive gift right into a chocolate cake. This is a great line: fluffy and delicious.

Author's Response: I guess writing happy Jim is only fair, after writing miserable Jim so many times. I have to give the guy a break every once in a while. Thanks for stopping by for a bite of cake!

I love them together like this.  It's my favourite happy place!

Thanks!!!

Author's Response: You know, sometimes you just have to go to the happy place. Glad it's working for you! Thanks.

When I saw the update, I actually said "ooohhh" out loud.  I love your Vignettes!

Author's Response: Thanks, Jen. We aim to please!

Jesus, colette, I'm all giddy and squeeish. ...And teary-eyed (swear to god).  Okay, first of all: You win first prize for best use of the adjective "ridiculously." Leave it to you to make it so sensual and sweet all at the same time.

And if this is your version of half-finished bits (isn't that what you said?), then damn it, you need to post all your  half-finished, barely-a-seed ideas.  Incredible, really.

Even if your stuff didn't consistently get ribbons, I'd still count on it to be always excellent: sexy, poignant, spot-on.

And this...."It was as if these seemingly insignificant details suddenly carried more weight than their most dramatic declarations. The extraordinarily unattainable had finally become ordinary. "

Once again, you've captured the essence of what makes these two so amazing...what makes us all write fics about the wonder their lives could/should become.

The last line as well...perfect.  Simply perfect.

You know I have a great affection for you, but honest to god, if I could somehow blackmail you into writing and posting at least once a week, I would so do it.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: You rock, my dear.  :o)

Author's Response:

Oh my, girl7...thanks so much for your effusive review! BTW, you always have a knack for picking out the lines I liked best myself! After a slew of more angsty fics, it felt good to purge my sappy side. Have a couple more bits to post soon (just as dopey, but a bit naughtier), so stay tuned.

Blackmail, huh? Have you been having Dwight's volunteer law enforcement friends investigate my sordid past? Now I'm scared!  Anyway, thanks - again and again - for being a most excellent reviewer. Makes me RIDICULOUSLY happy!

I love fics where they're happily, comfortably in love.  Well done!

Author's Response: Yeah, it's kind of nice to think about them happy post-angst (keeps me positive that triangular obstacle courses are but a temporary detour!) Glad you liked - and much thanks, as always!

Yay - happy is soooo good.  :-)

Author's Response: I agree: happy=good. It's been a while since I did a total fluffer, so it was kind of fun. Glad you enjoyed Moxie and thanks!

Love this "The extraordinarily unattainable had finally become ordinary."  I was trying to explain to my husband what is so enthralling about this couple -- it's not like the magic is gone, by any means, but after 4 years of marriage and (almost) 2 children, that giddy excitement of first times becomes just a memory.  Thanks for showing the sweet moments as these two enter that "comfortable" stage, the one more of us can relate to.

Author's Response: I love thinking about them when they're kind of settled in too...but still in luuuuurve. And yeah, we old marry people can relate! Thanks, as always, lisahoo!

Squeee! That was awesome!! Now I'm smiling like crazy. Yay!

Author's Response: Yay back at you! So happy to elicit a squee. Thanks much!

Such great fluff! Jim's birthday isn't something I've seen explored much, and combining it with in-love Pam was just perfect...and angst-free!

Author's Response: Glad you enjoyed...it was kind of a relief to write something that didn't involve heartbreak. Thanks for being such a great reviewer Luna Mystik!
