I mean, it couldn't possibly have gone this smoothly. But good heavens, wouldn't it have been nice if it had? Liked the dialogue a lot here. A little unsteady, Pam clearly unprepared and disorganized.
Author's Response: Yes, this scenario hits the fast-forward button but it could have worked? Maybe?

Wonderful and I so wish that really happens.
Author's Response: Thank you! It won't, but that's what fanfic is for, right?

Oh man, I really liked this, overly optimistic and all. I love that they can still be jokey and talk things through, and I really love that in the next section you have a Roy who's so human and decent and not some kind of caricature. Yay.
Author's Response: Oh, thank you! I finally have a good idea for part three, so I should be wrapping it up soon. I hope you like it as well!

Very nice take on the aftermath. If only. Also nice to see Roy in a light that makes Pam's sticking with him so long more understandable.
Author's Response: Yeah, apparently I like Roy this weekend. :)
(Thank you!)

"Just, don't marry him, OK? Please, don't marry him, Pam."
Sigh. I say this myself every night before I go to sleep.
Is that weird? LOL!
Sorry I'm just getting around to reviewing. Loved it. If only it could be this easy....
Author's Response: OK, it might be a *little* weird...but there are a whole heck of a lot of us on that weirdo boat with you!
(Thank you!)

I loved this line - "It was a kiss that spoke louder than words (even the words he had spoken minutes before), a kiss that revealed secrets and made promises and created a whole new world of possibilities." Very nice.
Author's Response: Thank you!

Mmm, Jammy goodness :)
Author's Response: I know, I can't resist!

How sweet it would be if this were the way it happened! I loved this line of Jim's: "...I want you to be happy. I want to be the one to make you happy, but if I can't..."
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm not holding out much hope for an immediate "happily ever after," which is why I'm indulging myself now! Heh.
