"Hi, I'm here for the interview."

"Oh, right. Um, you're Jim?" She tried to reconcile the voice she'd heard on the phone with the man standing in front of her. For some reason she hadn't thought he would be so... cute.

"Yeah," he said, pulling her back to the present.

"Okay, well, Michael's in his office. It's that door there. And, uh, hey, good luck!"

"Thanks, uh...?"

"Oh, I'm Pam."

"Pam," he said, and though she'd never loved her name, something about the way he said it made it sound different--better. "Thanks."

Another smile, then he disappeared into Michael's office.
