She couldn't figure out if Jim had any kind of feelings for her. Sometimes she thought he did. She'd glance up to find him looking at her; he'd grin sheepishly and go back to work. It was kind of cute, actually.

But there were other times when she felt like just a buddy to him, a partner in his pranking crimes, someone to pass the day with. But nothing more than that.

When Roy had first started liking her, it had been obvious. Unbelievable to her, but obvious to everyone in their high school.

With Jim she just didn't know.
