This chapter, although extremely painful to read, was terrific. You captured the mood perfectly. I cringed reading that PLoD scene from The Merger, but you nailed it! Great job on this chapter!

Dinner, and what happened later. Post-Season 3.10 I like this corner you've painted yourself into A LOT! When the chapter ended, I seriously said out loud THAT'S IT??? Please write another chapter and quick! This is fantastic. I could visualize the entire thing and it's EXACTLY how I would picture Jim and Pam interacting at that moment. You even got Kelly down perfectly without making her as over-the-top as she usually is! Can you tell how much I love this story? And it's only the first chapter!

10 That was beautifully written and totally believable. Heavy stuff! Through your story, I can see why Pam didn't call Jim right away. So tragic that she didn't call him later though. Could have saved them both a lot of heartache, but then...we wouldn't have had S3! Great job!
