Usually I ship Jim/Pam, Dwight/Angela, Kelly/Andy, Pam/Karen, though occasionally Ryan/Karen and anything femslash. Author's Response: I love embarrassed!Jim...because seriously, one of the things I find so appealing about him (and I suspect Pam\'s in the same camp) is that he thinks he\'s just a regular guy...and he\'s so much more.
Aww! That last one was so perfect. Wonderfully displays how he still thought about her in that best-friend way, but was checking himself to make sure he didn't show too much emotion, didn't put himself out there. Great job!

8 Impulsively, Pam leans forward and throws her arms around Karen, and Karen is taken aback, because she's not exactly that kind of person, and this is the second time today this has happened.
Wouldn't this have been awesome? I'm in love with the idea of Karen finally breaking down on Karen, and how she's okay with Pam having a family with Jim because she deserves to be happy too. Great job!
Random season four angst/fluff/Jim musings. Wow. A lot of people will claim that now that Jim and Pam are together all the problems that kept them apart for so long have completely disappeared and haven't left any scar at all, but I don't buy it. Beautiful and heart-wrenchingly emotional piece. Great job!
I actually love the ending to this, despite the fact that it's a little unconventional. The whole thing has a very nuanced foreign film vibe to it and that last bit really fits. I would love to see a sequel/epilogue to this!

I am in love withe bittersweet vibe to this, that everything might turn out okay but the road might be rocky and it won't be perfect. This seems so in character, something that would definitely happen to these two. Jim's going to start coming out of his cocoon soon, I think, and once Jim does something he goes all the way. Nice work!
Author's Response: thanks man! yeah, i kind of like it ugly. i do believe they will be together, but i don't believe it'll ever be easy - because that's just real. if this was ugly betty (which i love, don't get me wrong), maybe things could end up pretty rosy, but since it is the office, made of 100% realness, there's only one way for jim and pam, at least to me. aaaaand that was way too much.
