Beruco, you sure know how to set a mood. A sexy, sexy mood. Whew. Not only that, but so in character and intimate at the same time. Loved this bit:
She smiles. And he makes a face at her, which makes her smile a different kind of smile and she puts her hand to the side of his face.

I really liked this. The dialogue and characterization the whole way through was so good, but Kelly's moment of realization was perfect. The whole story was so insightful and bittersweet.
Ouch! No, don't let it happen this way on the show! Dwight and Angela were meant to be. This was a good look into Angela's mind, I think, and how she would feel about the two of them. Hopefully she forgives Dwight before they get to this point, though.

I like this. I think you really captured the stifling oppressiveness of the office and Pam's situation, starting with the sheets. My favorite parts: the last line, and --
Kevin’s leering at her in his strange way that means he’s thinking about something else. She’s just the place holder for his thoughts and that’s oddly insulting in some off-hand way that makes her think she is spending too much time at Dunder-Mifflin.

10 Dude, you are awesome! Okay, I sound like Kelly. But it's true. Today was a magical day -- I had a day off. Sweetpea's been telling me for ages how amazing this story was, so when I realized I had some actual time on my hands, I decided to check it out. And boy was she right (of course!). The characterization is so impressive -- they're Jim and Pam from the show, but not just the Jim and Pam we know. They're more than that (ha), and have their own distinct personalities.
And of course, the sex, HOT. And the dialogue, loved it. The chapter with Heather doing the tap-dance of embarrassment at having to encounter Jim again had me laughing out loud.
Anyway. I repeat: awesomeness. And your powers of updating impress me. I think i'm off to go wallow in guilt for having an eternally incomplete WIP....
Oh yeah, one more thing: this is definitely not the most remarkable part of the story, but I had to point it out anyway -- I love your explanation for the Kelly transformation from serious career woman to valley girl. It certainly makes more sense than the nonexistent real-life (er, real-fiction?) explanation....

10 I've been so busy I've barely read any fanfiction lately, but after the premiere (or whatever you call the first show after a 5 month strike hiatus), I had to go visit MTT. I saw this was a oneshot, so I thought I'd check it out.
And wow. Goosebumps. I love how understated this is. Almost austere -- which goes along perfectly with the desert theme. This is going in my favorites.
