Pam gets a taste of what her life could be like. AUOh, but will she wake up still here, or will her glimpse be over and then she'll have to figure out how to make things right back in her own world? Going to sleep in these sorts of things is always dangerous. I loved seeing her get some more of those memories, and hearing Jim fill in some of the blanks of how things turned out differently.

Ooh, this is great so far! I'm sure this glimpse of what she could have will cause Pam to think and act very differently when (if?) she gets back to her canon-life. Looking forward to more!

Oh, you portrayed the awkwardness of Pam not knowing how to deal with these kids that she doesn't really know so well. That's got to be scary. I love the line, "but Jim is here and nothing bad has ever happened to her when Jim was there." Aw.

Aw, I think it's absolutely believable that Jim would start to get frustrated with her acting so strange and forgetful for no apparent reason in his eyes, but I love that he realized when she really needed comfort.

Lovely! I think I was hoping for a Jim/Pam happy ending, but this is actually the perfect way to end it - Pam realizing what she has versus what she could have, and deciding to change her life instead of standing idly by. Awesome.

Wow, this was awesome! Such an interesting, in depth exploration of Ryan's character. He's so conflicted - torn between what he is and the image he wants to show the world, and yet he's still surprisingly laid back about everything, and it just works. Great stuff!

The story description and this moment where his world stopped spinning have both made me *very* tense about what might happen next... I'm preparing myself for pain!
Oh, man. Pam's got some 'splainin to do - I'm not normally very sympathetic with women who keep children secret from the fathers. I know Jim was the one in the wrong at first, but in my eyes this definitely trumps his mistake as far as bad deeds! Very cool surprise, though, and I look forward to seeing how it's resolved.
Very fun and intelligent fic - I love that you've added such depth to Kelly's character while still staying true to the lighter side of her we've seen on the show. I liked the breakup scene between her and Ryan - it felt very honest and real.
“I need someplace to stay.” She said this so softly he had to strain to hear her in the stillness of the evening, leaning toward her slightly. Something inside of him suddenly wanted to protect her.
That front porch scene wins all, and will probably be on my mind for most of the day! Yowza. Very, very nice.
And I loved all the interactions leading up to that as well. Pam with Jim and the frat boys, Kevin, Sue and Mark (aww).

This is awesome! I absolutely adore the Mark/Mindy dynamic in this chapter - hysterical yet totally realistic/natural. I bet she's hot for him deep down ;)
And the Pam/Jim is getting *very* intense - not much to say on it, because I am stunned - just looking forward to seeing where you take it next!

25 Aw, so sweet! I admit, I was about as frustrated as Jim during #4 - it was such a well planned, extravagant event and then Pam went and ruined it! Such a waste of David Wallace's connections and money ;) But you redeemed the situation in the end. That was a wonderful moment.

Heh! Oh, Marjorie. This kind of makes me wish there was more Marjorie-fic, although your explanation for her consistent absence is the best possible one, I think. My first instinct was that it still wouldn't work, because for her to avoid the cameras she'd have to miss so many meetings, etc, but then it occurred to me that we haven't seen too many (any) meetings that would probably actually be relevant to her work. As long as she doesn't mind missing out on the social aspect (aw, Secret Santa, birthday parties, creepy photo-shopped group photos), she could probably go on functioning in her job just fine!
Gosh, can you imagine if there was some huge Jim/Pam moment but Marjorie walked into the frame and they had to stop filming? The cameramen: "Damnit, Marjorie!!! I hate so much about the things that you choose to be." Now my brain is running wild with all sorts of Marjorie ideas - she is definitely underused!

Aw! I love the simplicity of this, how they don't have to say very much at all to convey their feelings and reach an understanding. And the last three lines are just perfect.
