Author's Response: I know just what you mean! Dwight is so intense, and yet a bit naive, and Jim is just so good at messing with his head and that's just all kinds of fun to watch! A classic example is in "Drug Testing". Dwight is trying to be all self-important and Jim is interrupting him relentlessly. ("It is my duty" "Volunteer duty" etc... we've all memorized it!) Okay, I'm going on and on when all I really want to do is graciously say THANK YOU!

Well done Ms Par5. Your Kelly voice is perfect!!! Each one of these snippets is so perfectly in character.
With one simple statement, Kelly had illuminated the situation. If Jim had taken a chance when it seemed as though things were hopeless, then why couldn’t she? She wasn’t necessarily hurting his relationship with Karen - she was just being open and honest with people which was exactly how new Pam had promised to live her life. He could take that information and do with it what he wanted just as she herself had, but she needed to take that chance.
YES. As soon as she realizes this it'll all be over. I'm sitting here holding my breath until it happens. And apparently Greg Daniels doesn't care if I die from lack of oxygen.

Oh yay! Colette. And kudos for not ignoring Karen. Though I gotta tell you - I pretty much try to deny she actually exists. ;)
I actually don't hate the idea of her - or even her character insomuch as I want her to be the one to make Pam get a move on and bring to Jim's attention the fact that as cool and great as she is one thing is certain.
She's not Pam.
But I think that's the delusional fangirl in me talking.
She doesn't get out much. :) LOL!

I agree - I think Karen is a road leading back to Pam (hear that writers?) But, I figured I had to deal with her sooner or later - so why not do it while I know virtually nothing about her? Anyway, thanks for chiming in...and just keep chanting, 'she's not Pam'...very therapeutic, I tell you.
