I was kind of hoping this was Jim the whole time.  I suspected for a while and am so happy to see that I was right. 

Really unique story idea.  Thanks so much for posting it!

I'm trying to keep away from the angst but this story offers a completely different type so I fnd myself sucked in.

The way you have Pam dealing with all of this is incredibly realistic.  I myself haven't had this experience but I am close to those who have.  I hope that later Pam can find the strength to come back from this.  Preferrably with Jim's help of course.

OK.  No fair making me cry in the morning.  This story is just really real.  That sounds too simple - but you've captured so much that's accurate about a time like this.  

The relationships between a father and his daughter, how Jim would absolutely be there for Pam at a time like this - even the way things are now - perfectly real.  The way she only lets him in at night and how confused he is by it.  So much to love.  

I also adore your style of writing.  It's wordy in the best of ways, like you picked each one carefully.

Please keep going.

The whole section at the end was absolutely amazing.  Made me all sorts of teary because your version of Pam has so much trouble taking chances.  I can imagine if S3 Pam had to go through such a traumatic experience she'd be just like this.    I never read the earlier version of this chapter so no worries about that - I just love, love, love what you've done here. 

Sad to hear there's only one more chapter - but so glad you shared this story w/us.

This story just continues to be absolutely fantastic.  (there are a few teensy weensy typos though - just wanted to let you know because it's so awesome I want it to be perfect!) 

I love the whole set up you've created and how honest Jim and Pam are with each other.  I just flat out adore this story to say the very least.   Hopefully there's more to come! 

Gotta tell you.  You could keep on writing this forever and I'll be right there for the entire ride.  So like them to become competitive over a simple assignment.

I have to say there's no other picnic I'd rather attend.  I know I'm repeating myself but indulge me please. :)  I love how easy it is.  Just so simple once they get all the junk out of the way.  It's lovely and simple and just so...them.

This was fabulous.  Everyone is perfectly in character and the dialogue is absolutely hilarious.  Ensemble-like pieces are really tough to do (IMHO) and you are pulling it off beautifully.    Here's a little list I found when googling....questions and another.  Something like this question in particular I think would be hysterical. 

Which song best describes your first date? Sea of Love, Maneater, Separate Ways, Our Lips are Sealed, or Cold as Ice?
