we think that the poor guy talked himself into a paranoid frenzy instead of talking to Pam about things WAYYyyyyy back...poor Jim. But once there's that kind of doubt and looking-over-the-shoulder every minute it's better just to leave and move on. This is such a good story!
Author's Response: I guess that\'s what I\'m thinking, untherapy. You can love someone to death but it\'s not going to fix the problems in yourself, right? Wow. Just wow. I am especially impressed by the how you have her responding to the show - it really resonated with me, the fact that's she torn between herself and Pam... Awesome.
I'll agree with everyone(?) about Pam's turnaround. Although we've already agreed that NY is just evil and this explains all sudden personality changes, reading this account gives me hope that the show writers won't pull a similar situation. BUT, it's a great story, and that justifies a little Jim paranoia and personality stretching!
Author's Response: Thanks untherapy! Everyone is so protective of Pam and her image -- I feel like I\'m tarnishing it a bit (sorry Pam!). But I just want to keep reminding everyone that this story deals with Jim\'s POV, Jim\'s insecurities, Jim\'s issues. What he\'s attributing to Pam may be only partially true.
