So beautiful! I think I teared up a little somewhere around Jim's recollection of their first date. I love how sweet this is, but in such an understated way.

You really got the characters down, their thoughts and their dialogue. I loved the little part about him only taking an hour and a half to drive back also. I can't believe this was your first fic!
It's a small thing, but I really have to say that I loved how you wrote "Fancy, New Beesly" instead of "Fancy New Beesly." It made my day.
