Really liked the finish to the chapter. I am kind of sad it's come to an end though, but definitely definitely please right again, and soon!

I think you've caught Pam's state of mind perfectly. It's clear from her thoughts that she doesn't realize she doesn't love Roy anymore. "I couldn’t just throw my life away for a maybe" Obviously if she truly wanted to be with Roy it didn't need to matter what Jim felt about her.

Quite interesting. I always figured Pam called off her wedding mainly because Jim actually left and because she missed him so much that's how she realized she loved him more than Roy. So I'm looking forward to see how things pan out with Jim staying.

Btw the chapter was great. I think you portrayed Jim's feelings perfectly. Hoping for a quick update :)

Author's Response: Actually, yes, I\'ve been working on updates for some time. I hit a roadblock, and when I finished the third chapter, I decided not to post it until I could write at least one more, and map it out more. I didn\'t put enough thought into it in the beginning and had to backtrack when I was already two chapters in. But, in short, yes. =)

I read your original story too, I like the sound of this one more as it seems both are kind of happy at this point in this story. Will there possibly be a chance for them to get together?

Author's Response: Thanks.  This seems more fleshed out to me.  As for them getting together, I can't be sure.  The story in my head has a certain direction it wants to go in, but I guess it could stray off course as I'm putting it down on paper.

I like it too. Hope to get an insight into Pam's past. I wonder how different things will play out with Jim now that she's available, but also because she has kids?

A bit late in reading this, but just want to say I loved it. I was hooked from the v.beginning.

I alwyas thought Jim leaving for Stamford was probably the catalyst for Pam calling off her marriage, as Pam realized how much she'd miss him, sicne that didn't happen I found everything that happened instead entirely believable.

And thanks for making it a happy ending :)

I like the story, but not a big fan of this last chapter sorry. It's just v.unrealistic in my opinion. Roy's hit Pam before now, so would Pam want to be with him again, and even more so would Jim even consider for one second letting Pam go anywhere with Roy? It's a very OOC Jim in my opinion.

Author's Response: Like before, I\'m getting to that. In my mind, Pam wasn\'t leaving Jim to go \"be with\" Roy again, but would leave to try to talk him out of hurting Karen. She\'s somewhat scared of him because of what he\'s done to her before, but it wasn\'t like that all the time. Roy\'s so hot and cold that for all she knows, they could go sit in the parking lot and he could start crying and begging her forgiveness. The reason why Jim let her leave is coming up in the next chapter :)

I can not express how happy I am that you are doing a sequel. The first one was one of my favorites, and I can't wait for more of this to come!

I hope we end up meeting Michael too :)

I just love this fic. I think the problems they are experiencing are so realistic. I just love it. I hope they get another pet to replace Norman!
