Guh, Colette, you're killing me. This was absolutely beautiful, and really stuck a note with me, with my late grandmother, and the fact that my ex-boyfriend played Billy in Carousel and "I Will" was our song. Thank you for this story, it was Pam and Jim at their sweetest.

This was great! The dialogue was really natural and I liked both of the characters. Of course Katy would proclaim herslef to be a reader and then talk about "Sex and the City"!

Wheeee!!! What a great ending, it was absolutely PERFECT. I really loved how they took things slowly- it always seems like a waste to just jump into it, but I like how they're savoring it.

If Jim really wanted her, he'd stop being so coy and just come over later. Besides, she really wanted to finish writing her latest story about Kim and Sam, two characters from a tv show that she'd recently become completely addicted to." Oh wait. That's my life, not Pam's. :P

Author's Response: I've never actually been on a love treasure hunt, but I've got lots of experience with the birthday kind. We used to have one for the last big present on every birthday. My dad was amazingly good at coming up with clues. They usually rhymed and everything. Anyway, I'm glad you liked it, and I'm really excited for them too!
Sigh....I'm rereading this at work in preparation for reading the newest chapter, and I'm now a puddle of goo. I LOVE these two last Dream Girl letters, it's fantastic how you revealed it to her.

Jim's dream girl letters make me feel squidgy in my tummy, and the last one made me tear up slightly (not too good for work, but whatever). I love how these two feel so deeply for each other!

This is SUCH a great story, and these last two installments did not disappoint. My favorite line is "The guy that just couldn’t be Jim while Jim was gone and yet was him now that he was back. " and I think it sums up the story perfetcly.

She looked over the boxes with wide eyes, overwhelmed by all the choices. Words like clear and easy were jumping out at her and she had no idea what to do because this was the furthest thing from clear or easy that she had ever done.
