This was very sweet. It's a crime that we didn't get to see the Beeslys meet Jim - one of the many squandered opportunities of seasons 4 and 5. And I liked the structure and pacing: e.g., dropping Stanley's unexpected praise for Jim in the middle of the chaos of Act III. Well done!

Very sweet, Jazzfan. It captured nicely the sense of awkwardness and vulnerability that the episode suggested. An essential part of Jim that is oft overlooked.

A sweet, sweet story. It captures season 3 Pam and Karen so well. And a real bullseye with the offhand observation about Erin's issues.

I like this story. It's nice to see Jim and Pam both available, both interested, and yet struggling with the awkwardness of how to get together - as opposed to the real world, in which sinister forces (not necessarily named Karen) contrived to keep them apart. And the objective of having the Gumption Fairy linger just a wee bit longer at Pam's house is believably met: she's still recognizably Pam. And, lastly, it's nice to see Penny and Isabel used in a way that seems natural and not at all AU. Don't feel like you have to hew too close to the S2 arc: either Casino Night would have to involve a ring, or I'd be forced to reach for my vegetables! Well done and keep it coming ...

Author's Response: Guten abend, "Guten Tag"...thank you for your kind review. And I promise those vegetables can stay in the fridge (you read my mind). Regarding Pam, she is strong, but not right out in the open all of the time. I think she definitely would hold back somewhat in this situation (if she was a real girl). And for Jim, I wanted to use what we know from newer episodes, where Jim has given advice on romance and dating, so I hope this Jim holds true to that aspect of his character. Penny and Isabel were great on the show, I like to think that they have been cheering Pam on all this time in canon. She has to have some girlfriends, right? I had a best guy friend in high school, he asked me out once over the phone and I laughed, I thought he was kidding with me, it's an awkward thing to change a close relationship, we never ended up dating, but I understand the awkwardness, totally.
