A fine one-shot. I particularly enjoy the variation you manage to bring to the otherwise simple act of packing her bag. Great fleshing out of your initial thought.
Author's Response: Thank you!
Jim is visited by the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Christmas Present, and Christmas Yet-to-Be. Because I watch too much A Christmas Carol and It's a Wonderful Life every December. Set during "Dwight Christmas" in Season 9 for the 2018 Secret Santa Fic Exchange.
I own nothing here. Concepts and characters go to Greg Daniels, Charles Dickens, and Frank Capra.

It's been so long since I revisited "Dwight Christmas" or season 9 at all that I had a hard time getting into Jim's head. As usual though, you don't. Your writing of all The Office characters continues to be spot on.
I loved all your choices for the Christmas ghosts, and Michael as Marley is particularly apt. Kudos on another great fic! :-)
Author's Response: Oh man! Thank you for such a kind review! That means a lot and it was really fun to write.
Pam relives a single day over and over again--what can she do to break the loop? We all know, but when will she figure it out?
Inspired by Groundhog Day (of course) and the two fics based on that movie on this archive already, House Call by time4moxie and especially Second Chances: The Booze Cruise by GreenFish (though that one is Jim POV).

This fic has delighted me twice now, and I just wanted to pay my respects.
There's a lot of greatness here but the element I want to call particular attention to is the Pam/Jim dynamic through the cycles. Even with the same day repeating endlessly, Jim still stayed fresh and surprising to Pam. It really showed how in tune the two of them are. :-)
Author's Response: Thank you! It's always wonderful to hear from people who are reading the fic after it's done! I'm so glad their dynamic over the repetitions worked for you; it was my favorite part of writing it!
A look at Pam’s Season 3 journey through the eyes of her art instructor.
“Marla always started off the term asking students to fill out a survey about themselves... There wasn’t much on Pam’s paper; a few neatly written words that she worked as a receptionist, hadn’t taken art classes since high school, and liked watercolors best.”

Great short fic! I loved the different perspective on the season 3 drama.

Just discovered this fic and really enjoyed it! Karen is one of the hardest-done-by characters on The Office and I concur with your belief that we deserved a Pam and Karen friendship; I love Benihana Christmas for this reason if none other. Great one-shot!
