10 wow! that was so well done. i didn't know it was possible to make that so realistic about to tv characters. but then again, this IS the office, and anything is possible with the amazing writers they have, and the actors and actresses who portray the characters they have brought to life.
i think that was incredible, and can't wait to see what their reactions are. I LOVE JIM so much, that he is so supportive for pam, and constantly thinks of her first. what a sweetie. he can have my number anytime!
10 Oh my god, that was absolutely heartbreaking. This is just so sad, and I really hope that they can stay together through this. And just to reassure you, this was incredibly realistic (sounding, I have NO CLUE what that would actually be like). Amazingly well done, and I'm looking forwards to the next chapter.

10 that was great. i understand how they are kinda awe-strucked by the fact they're pregnant, but still... they seem so cautious, tentitive, hesitant... i think they're overthinking this.

i just realized (and you'll be happy to know this) that each time i finish a chapter and think for a minute what to put in a review, i realize that this is so realistic.
it's frightening realistic, bravo with that.

Author's Response: Hiyapamelamorganhalpert thanks so much for your honest review, I’m glad you liked this chapter.\r\n\r\nRegarding that line you mentioned, I just want to defend it a little and explain to you why I used it – hopefully you’ll read it better afterwards (or not lol.)\r\n\r\nI believe that in The Office, as we know it anyway, that isn’t something Jim would say. But the characters I’m writing are slightly more confident than the people we see on the show – Pam especially. I truly believe that if she hadn’t dated Roy for so long, we would have definitely have seen Fancy New Beesly a lot sooner than we did. Where Jim says wow, you’re so hot; Pam has basically turned his brain to goo, it wasn’t meant to be taken as an actual statement. I’ve totally butchered that explanation lmao, but maybe you’ll get what I’m saying, if not just ignore me lol =)\r\n\r\nThanks again, I really do appreciate everything you have said! \r\n

10 OH MY GOD - THAT WAS INCREDIBLE!!!!! I am ABSOLUTELY SHOCKED at how accurate your descriptions of those characters were, how you captured their emotions and pulled it all together in a story that flowed incredibly well.

10 oh my goodness. this is interesting... great story idea! very well written, realistic chapter - i could see this happening on the show for sure. although you're moving at a fast pace - i'd love longer chapters. for me it's hard to get into a story when it starts, draws you in, and then quickly stops for a chapter break. but i'll keep reading - so intriguing!

10 oh my god, that was literally the most beautiful story i've read here at MTT. i've read SO MANY stories, and all of them have been great in their own little way, but this is truly different. i absolutely love how even though there was no dialog, you perfectly captured all the love-filled emotions jim and pam have for each other. sometimes i find it hard to try and express how they feel for each other while they aren't even in the same room, but you've done this through thoughts which is even harder. great job with this, you've written a masterpiece!
10 wow! that was great! even though you said in your author's notes that this wasn't as happy a piece as you usually write i thought this actually wasn't too bad. sure, pam almost drowns herself, but she stops herself, and the way she talked about karen at least gave me some hope. oh well, i guess i'm just a little relieved to see that this isn't a sad as your latest story or liv's 'she dreams in color' that i'm in love with.
nice job with the challenge, i'm giving you a purple ribbon for it (my equivalent of a blue, i just like purple better!)
and sorry if this review makes no sense - i'm a little dazed, i just realized i'm completely caught up with all my homework and it just felt weird not to have anything hanging over my head (well there is some stuff i could do... but it's time for sleep :)...) all in all, i really liked this story if you didn't get that earlier in my review!
Oh my god, that was so cute with the baby kicking while Jim was singing! I wouldn't mind Jim/John singing to me! Great chapter, and I can't wait for more!

Author's Response: Baby's respond well to music, so I hear. I've been interrogating all of my friends with children to get the good pregnancy scoop. Which results in an endless barrage of, "Are you pregnant?!?!?!?!" from all of my friends and family, and when I say no, they just look confused. I'm pretty sure I scared the crap out of my husband when I picked up a "What to Expect..." book at Barnes & Noble the other day. I thought he wasn't looking. My bad.
I'm so glad you enjoy the playlists! Nothing puts me in the mood to write like some good tuneage. Butch Walker is a favorite. That boy puts on a show like no other. He's such a kook, and so full of energy, as you can tell if you happened to watch his "Tiny Dancer" performance. I went to his show in Chicago, and if he makes a stop in Dallas any time soon, I am THERE.
Okay, I need to get off the computer because I am starving. I tried to curb my hunger with a lollipop, and now I'm just chewing on a stick. Do they say it's bad to eat so late in the day? I don't follow rules!
10 Okay, I know I didn't review much on the other two stories, but I just felt compelled to here. This was adorable, and I love how Pam was so emotional about choosing Modestly Peach over Watermelon Pink for the walls. Hilarious! And I loved the doctor, all of your supporting character are incredibly realistic for the smaller parts they play in this story. Great job! Now to continue... P.S. thanks for all your updates recently. They inspired me to begin reading Indie Rock and Keds! (and I'm so glad I did...)
