I'm a student living in Seattle. For a while I was only reading and reviewing, (I'm pretty shy) but then I decided to go for it and begin posting - albeit very sporadically. I still feel that I've got a long way to go in terms of my writing, but as I'm busy with school I'm content to just read, review and beta for now.

That said, I love to rock climb, travel (Europe in particular), listen to old 60's music, read all of your stories here and watch The Office, How I Met Your Mother and Gilmore Girls.

oh my god, the fingernails outburst at the end reminded me of Juno - only this is such a happier story! lol. great chapter, i like this one the most out of all the ones so far in this story, the longing of pam's to hold a baby is so realistic sounding. great job! i can't wait to keep reading. please make sure to have an epilogue after the birth of the baby to show how pam's longing of holding her own baby comes true. i think that would be beautiful. great chapter!

Author's Response: ha, i didn't think about that part of juno. and yes, it is a much happier story, thank goodness. i have them all pre-written for the most part, so i hope you enjoy the ending vignette i have planned. =)

this was such a great chapter! I really liked the perspective, which was definitely different from all the other chapters of this story. great job!

btw, are you going to do a birth episode? i think you should if you feel comfortable with all the birth description. well, maybe you could just have one when she begins labor or something, not the actual, physical birth, if you get what i mean!

anyways, great job, can't wait for more! this is getting to be such a classic JAM pregnancy story!

Author's Response: I don't know if I'll do a birth chapter. I have the last one already written, and I've already done a post-birth fic that took a lot of time. And I'm not sure if I'd want to write too much of the actual birth, because that's a very long process and totally hard to do. Firstly, I've never given birth, so what do I know? Haha. And also, it's very technical. And if I'm focusing only on character reactions/emotions, or whatever, I've kind of already done that in other fics. So, we'll see, but I like the ending I have now, and I hope you guys will, too. =) Thanks for the review, as always.

HAHAHAHA. Aww, that last little bit was adorable. No. What? They grow up so fast! Lol. I just loved this chapter. It took me a minute or two to realize that the non italics part was the second trimester of the second baby, but otherwise, I thought this whole thing was perfect. i really liked this, and i don't think you've ended this at a conclusion - so guess what - you need more chapters! :) i loved betsy, and the description of jim and pam in his childhood bed, so cute! only thing though, benjamin's retelling of what was supposed to happen with the pranks i found to be a bit confusing... oh well. i can't wait to read more!

Author's Response: I know you read and review a lot and you are really good at it. So if you want more, I expect you to have some ideas:) What so what kind of things do you think would happen over the weekend? Would you like to see pranks? Some flashbacks to childhood? Another persons point of view? Should Jim and Pam come to the forefront or stay in the background? These are the questions that try men's souls..... :) This story actually started because I wanted to have somebody see a glimpse of JAM sleeping in a cute, non-smutty way. I know, weird starting point. But I'm glad you think the moment worked. I'm sorry you found the ending confusing, there was a line or two I wasn't sure about. you bring up a good point - i should be more specific with my requests! lol! i guess what i would like to see is how this morning continues, the rest of the family wakes up, they all come downstairs for a family breakfast, the brothers interact with each other, maybe some famous halpert smirks going on? and of course, some JAM interaction. does this help a bit? let me know if you want me to be more specific, i'm glad to help pass ideas back and forth if you decide to continue this story! and i liked your original idea, the description of jim and pam sleeping was very well done!

Author's Response: Wow! That is specific, and you might have psychic powers. At work this morning I was planning out the next chapter (before my class arrived) and I was tinkign to pick up the story line just an hour or so later and continue through brekfast. no problem, i'm glad we're on the same page (and brain wave! lol!) great idea, and i'm looking forward to reading the upcoming chapters! and out of curiosity, are you a teacher? if so, that's pretty cool - what subject?

Author's Response: I'm actually a substitute teacher for a elementry/middle school. However, they also have a before/aftercare program and a daycare on the property. So I can be called in anytime 6am-6pm for any class from 6 weeks olds, to 8th graders. It definitely makes life and my schedule interesting! Since typing the above 3 minutes ago, I got a call and I'm heading in to work. Like I said, it's an interesting schedule:) Thanks for your review.

wow, that was so creative - i loved it! there were so many really well done lines in here, such as in the ryan and kelly section, 'She was an independent diva.' and also I loved the whole section on the star crossed lovers. Not to mention Phyllis and Bob Vance, Vance Refrigeration and their whole 'you're so sexy' bit!

And, of course, our own Jim and Pam, that was perfect, 'Watching cheesy 80s movies with Pam on a Friday night was all he ever really wanted.' is just perfect!

wow, that was one of the most beautifully written one-shots i've ever read! fantastic job, jhalpert - this was amazing! i love all the attention to detail, colors and sounds - typically most stories these days are sights and emotions, but this was a little of everything, great job! i loved this story, very romantic, as sometimes the stories including the baby are too much about the baby and not enough on jim and pam and the love between them, just the baby. that said, this was fantastic!

Oh my goodness. The description of the living room just made me feel all icy and like I was shivering - that's TERRIBLE! What in the world is wrong with Roy? And in that last chapter, where you said that his friends had given him some good advice, that she needed a punishment, I thought he would have done the equivalent of raping her - but to someone you're engaged to. Whatever that ends up being. But really, thank you for not skipping around the unpleasant subjects, I say this at every chapter, but really, it's not only educational, but crucial to the realism of the story. So thank you again, and I can't emphasize that enough. I thought it was very well done when you had Jim remain at the door, and then come and take care of Pam instinctively. The way he expressed his anger seemed so accurate - this chapter was entirely, incredibly well done.

Great job with this chapter, and I look forwards to reading the next.

BTW, I'm looking into finding a way to give this 15 stars.

Wow - I can't wait to see how you keep going.

I'm kind of at a loss for words here, this was pretty intense stuff - yet I like that you're not leaving anything to the imagination. So therefore, very good job!

One idea, I would suggest not having the final line 'this would be a long weekend'. I think it might be better to stay in the moment, finish the scene with Pam handing Roy the beer and then the next chapter starting however you'd like it to be.

That's just my thoughts - but you don't need to incorporate them if you don't like them.
