10 Sorry it took me so long to comment on this. Oh, I'm going to miss these! I've loved them so much! This last one had a poetic quality to it. Lovely. Thank you so much for all of these and for using them to fill in the confusing blanks that the writers have left this season. :)

Ahh! Jim's dad is so manipulative! Breaking them up and now keeping them from running into each other at the party... I can't wait to find out what his deal is.
As for Pam... glad to see her enjoying herself at least a little bit with taking the baby's picture to see Santa. I hope Jim's dad isn't a jerk to her.
And this was SO adorable: “Ohh sure one day I’ll love another girl,” he said and smiled. “And she will call you ‘mommy.” ... Eee! Cute.

I was so excited to see this updated! ... But also sad that it's almost over. I loved their interactions in this chapter, particularly Jim being so supportive of Pam. And then the image of Jim and Cece napping together was completely adorable. Thank you for the update! I look forward to seeing what happens to them in the epilogue :)

So I've been waiting to see how you would handle that inevitable confrontation between Jim and his father, and this was great. As for the rest... so, so sweet! I love the image of him holding the baby and getting a really good look at her for the first time. Nice job :)
Author's Response: I'm so glad you liked how I handled Jim and his father's "talk." It took me a while to get all the pieces that I wanted Jim to say to his father in a logical "flowing" order. Ahh! So much happening in this chapter! I love it. Jealous!Roy in this was so... Roy-like? Haha Each time he tried to get under Jim's skin, I cringed. Poor Jim! He missed out on so much and it kills him, and then for Roy to do that? Jerrrrkk. I love what it led Jim to do, though-- particularly his little declaration to Pam. That scene was perfect (and kind of hot, not going to lie). Thanks for the update! :)
Oh, this was just beautiful. I liked how you incorporated the dialogue from that moment in the show. Actually, this version may have even been a little bit sweeter. I loved seeing them reconnect over this, and I can't wait to see how things continue to develop with them (though I was hoping she would stay over night with him.. hehe :)). Well done!
Sorry that I'm so late in commenting! I was SO excited when I saw an update to this, and as usual, you did not disappoint. I felt the tension in the first part where everything was finally revealed and the sadness when Pam finally talked to Adele one-on-one. The last scene with Jim and his mom was also well done. I'm reeeally looking forward to seeing what happens next. Thanks for the update. I'm definitely still interested :)

It was interesting to learn a little more about Jim's background, and I liked how you had Jim's mom mention that little bit about the baby shower when he was barely listening. Nice to see an update for this :) Ahh I totally cringed when Karen was at Jim's place after all the nervous/excited anticipation Pam must have been feeling, but having Jim drive all that way later just to have an evening with her was so sweet. I loved the simplicity of it, particularly that very last moment of them sitting together, even though those last two lines kind of broke my heart. Can't wait to see how you finally get them together. Thanks for this :)

Such a sweet ending :) I loved how they were so sure of that they wanted that even the day of their first kiss they were talking about fifty years in the future. And the art show? I like your version way more than what happened on the show. Jim telling her how proud of her he is and her smiling when she told people the eyes in the painting were her boyfriend's made me smile. Thank you so much for this story!

10 I loved this little glimpse of worrier-Jim. He always seems so laid back on the show, but there have been a few instances where he gets a little "frazzled" over his family, so the way you have him thinking/acting here is totally in-character. I loved him taking care of his sick baby and hearing how he feels about his wife in her pregnant state or any state. Their little conversation at the end after putting Cece to bed was really nicely done, too-- a perfect mix of serious and sweet. Really nice job :) Thanks for giving us your take on what went on post-episode!
Ahh! Sorry that it's taken me so long to get around to commenting on this. I really enjoyed this glimpse of Jim's family. They've given us a pretty good idea of who Pete and Tom are, so I like how you've given us an idea of who the rest of the family is and how they interact. It's nice to see how well Pam fits, and I love the way you wrote her relationship with Larisa. Nicely done :)
(Oh! And I forgot to add that I liked the hints about Jim buying the house-- especially Betsy's "they're just weird people" comment. haha)

I got a sense that Pam fit in really well with the family, just by the way Pete and Tom act at the wedding, and the way Jim's parents and Pam are just standing there, I don't know, it just seemed like they were all close. That scene in the show broke my heart, so I'm glad you decided to expand upon it. I love how supportive Jim is of her in this. It's so obvious how much he cares for her and wants her to feel good about herself, and it's just so sweet :)
I don't read a lot of non-Jim/Pam fic, but wow, you really made this work. It felt very believable, and I loved this little glimpse into their lives and personalities. Awesome job. :)
