I really liked the litany of Pam's memories flashing by. And brooding Pam flooding her head with melancholy and reminiscent songs -- it's like a reading a mashup video.

And actually, the idea for Pam's memories/iPod playlist basically came from watching YouTube for, like, four hours. :)

Oh, Pam, I feel your pain! My little Christmas present is kicking the bejeezus out of me right now & I'm just hoping she doesn't come early so I don't spend Xmas in the hospital. And the Halpert clan is as adorable as all get-out -- giant Halpert babies and all!

Author's Response: Thanks for all of your wonderful reviews, lisahoo! I'm so glad you liked this. I know I was taking a chance writing Jim being so open to the camera, but he knows that they know, so he'd be honest without saying everything.
Jim receives a gift the day after Christmas. And then another one the next day. And again for the 10 days after. Is it a joke, or has his True Love come forward? Oh happiness, Moxie!! The anticipation was getting to all of us -- not just Jim. And this is so true: "Maybe some of the heartache we've both suffered could have been prevented had one of us lost control a long time ago.” And chasing Parma down -- awesome. A little wink to those of us who are getting antsy waiting for each new chapter?
The 'protection' conversation -- freaking adorable! And chocolate fondue -- that Beesly thinks of everything.
And I am still giddy with excitement for Day 12 and the big reveal ;o)
Oh my. So much to comment on here... it took me a few days to absorb it all!

I have to agree with Jim -- Day 11 (in both chapters 11 and 12) was so terrific, I would have forgotten about day 12, too!
The Scrantonicity tape was so perfect as the day 12 gift! Kevin was the drummer, right? And the part about that afternoon being the last time things were 'normal' between them is soooo true. (Yes, I've been wracking my brain trying to guess each day's gift).
And the reveal! Seriously, you sent my heart right up into my throat. Even on the second & third reading. Wow.
