Bean!  We call our little monster 'Bean' and she's now two.  And yeah, gaining too much weight the first trimester isn't really a problem, since my appetite was shot.

Love Pam trying to explain the camera crew to the bean.  And I relate to wanting to strangle the daddy.  *sigh*

Author's Response: Hee!  I think calling the baby Bean is the cutest thing (obviously!)   I do tend to believe Jim is practically perfect - but I do believe even he has his faults. ;)

Blurry little photos of alien babies <3<3<3  Only a person with a very good imagination can even tell that's a baby.  I'm still amazed when an ultrasound tech can point stuff out.

Jim buying life insurance is kind of hot.  (Who knew?)

Author's Response:

I never know what to say when someone shows me their sonogram pic.  Oh so cute - doesn't quite seem to be appropriate.

And yeah.  The man can make insurance coverage hot.    What's next?  LOL!  Thanks so much for the review Ms. Hoo.  I really do appreciate it!

*grinning like a fool*  I cannot freaking wait for S6.  Between Pam being pregnant and maybe a little cranky, Jim being deliriously happy & proud and everyone in the office saying inappropriate things -- pure freaking gold.  They don't even need to have any real plot, everyone can sit around and sell paper and it will be so freaking exciting.

Seeing John play an expectant father in AWG did not help me cool my jets for this at all.

So happy to see you writing again, XO.  Go kick another mountain's ass today  ;o)

Author's Response:

You and me both.  I think that's a perfect idea for a show.

I'll tell you what - that beats Jay Leno 5 nights a week any day.

Static for me beats Jay Leno so maybe that's not saying much.

I cannot wait to see AWG.  I found out it's playing at theatre closest to me so I'm going there next week.

Thanks so much!   I'm going to try a treadmill today instead of the mountain but I was glad I took that on last night.

About 6 months ago I'd have collapsed halfway there for sure so that's something! ;)

Happy to be writing and that there are still people who want to read.

OK  - this is the most random review reply ever.  LOL!

Guh.  I cannot wait for a glimmer of Jim going overboard with his joy about becoming a daddy.  Comedy gold with a sweet & gooey center.

Author's Response: Seriously.  Is it September yet? :)

Congrats, xoxoxo, you've gone further with Jim's career arc than the show has, and Jim isn't even really in your story!  And the little Halpertlet will definitely inherit the stubborn gene.  The grief those two gave us in just three years is proof of that.

Loved this: And my parents' problems have really just made me even more sure about what your dad and I have, not less.  So freaking true.  Sometimes an "anti-role model" can be just as effective.

Author's Response:

I am having trouble figuring out if Jim is just doing what he needs to do or really OK with working at D-M because of what it means for his personal life.   I'm hoping we'll find out more in S6.  But hell yeah they were stubborn.  Drove me to drink.

Thanks so much for the review.   I love hearing bits that people particularly liked.

Aww, TYDTWD Pam returns!  I saw a blue Yaris the other day and I wondered how long it would take Jim to get Pam a minivan.  (Yes, that is terribly paternalistic that Jim would take over Pam's car issues, but Jim seems to go through cars like ties.)

Damn, girl, you are not making the wait for pregnant Pam and proud papa-to-be Jim any easier!

Author's Response:

That was the whole motivation for this whole chapter, Jim and Pam and a minivan.  The rest of the stuff?  Just late stages of pregnancy insanity.  At least that's what babycenter tells me. ;)

Thanks as always for the review. :)

YOU are not doing anything to make me less excited for Sept 17th.  It's like giving birth all over again.  I wish I could have Pam (and Jim) hang out in the Pregnancy and Parenting thread and we could tell them both it will be ok.  (But then they might find out about the fanfic archive, and that would be fun for no one.)

And yes, Jambaby will be the best thing ever.  Ever.  ;o)

Author's Response:

Sorry.   LOL!  You are killing me.  Yeah...better us keeping that stuff to ourselves.

I know.  I mean honestly - will there ever be anything better?  I think not.

Have I told you lately how much I ADORE Daddy!Jim?  A bunch.  His heart is going to have to grow three sizes to handle how happy he is going to be to meet the baby he made with Pam.

They had better be auditioning those babies JK promised us back before S3.

*Having the last letter be from Jim is brilliant.  Also, adorable.

Author's Response:

You may have mentioned it.  I kind of wrote this because I was so overwhelmed by the adorableness of it all and needed some place to put it.

And thank you.  It was always my intention to give Jim his day at the end - so it made me laugh when people asked for Jim's perspective as I went along.

Thank you so much for reading and reviewing.  I really do appreciate it!

Wow -- so many little details explained in this week -- the famous 'bought it a week after we started dating', Pam's new necklace, the non-existent supply closet, Jim's guilt (or not) over how soon he slept with Pam for the first time, the whole effort in keeping it a secret.

Nicely done, EG.  Hope to see more from you!

Author's Response: Thank you!  I was trying to fill in the blanks on some of those things, so I'm glad it worked.

I'm a little afraid of how well you've written Holly here.  I loved seeing how she doesn't quite fit with 'normal' people.  I really like how you took Michael's ripping up her counting Crows tickets (clever, title, BTW) and actually made it make sense.  Well, to Michael anyway.  ;o)

I'm a little afraid of how well you write Kelly.  OK, more than a little.  Ryan the puppetmaster -- bwah!  That is perfectly evil and completely possible.  Nicely done, Steph.

YAY! I cannot TELL you how happy I was to see your name on my Updates feed!  ;o) x infinity.

Love the Andy/Oscar stories.  You should be a little afraid of understanding Andy so well.  But then, this is the little glimmer of humanity that makes Andy bearable and a great addition to Michael's little 'family' of misfits.

Heh.  Ryan is such a tool.  Ft. Lauderdale!  BWAH!

Oh, and I think you made that parking lot scene (with that magical sunset light) an even happier moment.

Oops, long overdue review here.

The way you bridge from one character to the next is equal parts unnerving and genius.  As much as I love to read about what Jim & Pam are up to, it means so much more in the context of the rest of the office.

I love your 'Pam voice'.  To pieces.  And the parallel between Angela & Pam (well, love triangle vs. love quadrilateral) is brilliant.  Who knew Pam & Angela would have that much in common?  Well done, xoxoxo.

Author's Response:

I love that you love it - because I really have come to love writing in her voice.

I love most of all that Angela thinks Pam is the office mattress - and she the one who ends up being kind of whorish. ;)

Brillliant.  So glad to have this glimpse into what was going through Pam's mind when she nudged Michael to go to Nashua.  There were so many "what if's"in S3 -- and Pam wasn't the only one asking.  Nicely done, xoxoxo.

Author's Response:

Thank you.  :)  I loved the way S3 worked in retrospect - but I about tore my hair out wondering what was wrong with that girl.  What if indeed. Thank you so much for the review.  I appreciate it.

What, no acai berry?  I'll bet Michael did call Pam at 2 am.  Heck, he was picking her up at 5am -- or something.

And yes, Jim must have been annoyed to have Michael invade their lives further once he left DM.  Good times.

Tipsy and confident Pam is a deadly combination.  Oh, Young Jim. There is just so much I need to warn you about. And yet, tragically, I cannot.

Nicely done, LoveFool.  I thought that with the title you might be writing more babyfic  ;o)

Hooray for fluffy fluff.  "Get married" is on the list -- love that.  Pam does need to see the Pacific -- hope that happens on the show somehow  ;o)  Nicely done, Bashert.

Author's Response: I would think that Get Married would be pretty high on the To-Do list. But I would love to see Jim take her to the ocean.

Yay!  colette is writing again!

Love every detail about the little motel in the general vicinity of the ocean (or is it shore?) -- reminds me of the crummy little places we'd stay in at Ocean City every summer.

All those minor annoyances become happy memories when you're with the right person.

Besides, Pam will look cute with a little baby bump pooching out over her bikini bottoms.  Dammit.  (Have I told you lately how much I can't wait to see Pregant!Pam and Protective!Jim?  81 days to go....)

Author's Response: You're looking forward to that?!? Wow, how weird. I had no idea ;-) Hooray for the details working for you - and thanks much for dropping by, babe!

Excellent.  Pushy-ass Karen digging her claws in would totally explain how that week unfolded.

I hope Pam & Jim did it like bunnies to exorcise the spirit of evil Karen practically date-raping Jim.

Feel free to explain any more mysteries of the workings of Jim's mind, particularly if the M rating doesn't involve Karen at all.

Author's Response: Well, I like to think they did it like bunnies just...because they could. ;) You know, I kind of liked Karen. She was in the way, obviously, but she was just trying to hang on to Jim. What girl wouldn\'t do what it took to make that happen? Thanks for reviewing, lisahoo. It\'s always great to hear from you. :)
