Loved the added bit about Sunday, Cranky , Sunday and them arguing because Sunday was just inherently evil. What? That's not what you meant? Well, I can tell you that is part of it, coming from someone who had a LDR until I convinced HooHusband to move in with me.

"I guess the idea just hit me that I never expected being together like this would be so much fun." LOVE Jim explaining to Pam how things get so much better when you are in love with your best friend (and not with that dumbass Roy who had no idea what he had). "You're just not used to being loved the way you deserve to be." Yeah, I can totally hear Jim saying that.
And the whole exchange with the two of them trying to resolve the long-distance issue -- each deciding to move had a little O Henry vibe to it. In other words, very nice. A clever way to tie up the loose ends of the branch merger.

I am a total JAM fan, but I found this pairing to be entirely believeable, and not squicky -- especially with how you characterized Jim in this piece. I really like seeing him less feminized. "I've become a f***ing chick!" is something I'd love to hear him say! YES!
You've explored a new range of emotions with Jim that is refreshing (rage at Roy, anger at Pam, outright lust for in-control Jan).
And having them watch "Anchorman" just kills me!!

I should give this a one word review: "Duh!" but it's too late for that, so I'll also say you write some good Kelly!
This picks up pre-merger and is spoiler free, a bit AU as well. I began this back in October (maybe even September), and obviously the show has deviated quite a bit from what I speculated here.
This begins with angst, but there is a great deal of fluff, steam, smut, and silly...for several, several chapters. My idea was to go beyond the happy ending, so to speak.

I had to (got to) read the first 35 chapters of this all over again -- so I now have the fanfic equivalent of slurpee headache -- you know, when it's so good you can't stop and that makes your head hurt? So, thanks for this whole story. Again.
And do NOT cut it short if there are more chapters wanting to be written. If you keep writing it, I'll keep reading it. Especially since what you write is so much more, uh, satisfying than what GD & Co are writing lately.
That's really, really good to hear! I wasn't sure how it would be. I know I started eyegypt's Dazed and Confused way back when, then got so busy that I couldn't read much of anything. And this afternoon I spent literally two and a half to three hours reading the whole thing (until I had to go pick my husband up from work because there was a bat in his office - hand to god, a BAT...how surreal is that??). Anyway, I liked being able to click on chapter after chapter of Dazed, so I'm hoping that maybe that's the experience people who read this in the beginning will have now.

EEEE! Toby and Michael! Like a dollop of bittersweet chocolate mousse on top of sweet fluffy angel food! The Office craziness is an awesome counterpart to the yumminess of Pam & Jim's wedding.
And I adore Pam for insisting that the wedding is NOT all about the bride. I love it when a couple makes up their own rules. And it is so true to both characters.

This is definitely not too long for a couple who have been together for 10 years -- they do deserve a proper 'mourning' for their relationship. You have captured Roy really well -- and the comparison with Jim -- no jinxes, or paper doves -- just awesome.
